I haven't used it yet but planning to use for a 25th wedding anniversary party later this year to display and serve cakes. I did try it out, placing the marble plates on the plate holders and they are quite sturdy as well. This piece will be an heirloom I will pass down to my children for their events.

They look beautiful and elegant and are sturdy pieces that will last a very long time if handles properly. The marble cake plates are not fixed, so that can present a slight problem with tipping. Other than that, I loved the pieces and will use them for many gatherings, I am sure . I plan to purchase the entire collection!
