Ashy - a little disappointing
I received my Ashby Outdoor patio set yesterday. The colors were exceptionally good. The color of the basket weave simulated wicker, cushions, pillows, rung, and table were all better than expected. Everything matched up nicely. The quality of the pillows was excellent. I know the dimensions were clearly listed on the website, but the actual delivered product was less than expected. I was underwhelmed by the overall quality of the actual sofa, love seat, and chairs. When I state quality, I expected something that was more solid, more structured, and more weight to it. This set is light weight and not much different from what I see on the shelf at big box stores. Again, the finishes and overall look were great but were not at the level of quality I had seen up close in places like RH. I have purchased a few other items from Frontgate such as Ming vases which were high quality. This was an overall disappointment and not of value for the price. My all-in price for the 3-piece set, an extra swivel chair, coffee table, rug and covers were over $12,000. That was overpriced. It seems like a lot of the products are designed first and foremost for photography, the look, then ease of shipping, and finally quality.
