Bailey Vanity Stool is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 64.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great stool, but not "white" as expected I have been wanting the Bailey Vanity Stool for quite some time. When the price went down recently, I ordered it and was thrilled to receive it. Upon opening it I was a bit disappointed. The stool itself is wellmade, sturdy, has good swivel movement, and is a beautiful bright chrome...however, the color of the seat is more of an off-white/cream color, No where near the pure white color that is depicted in the catalog. Had I known this I probably would have chosen another color option. The inconvenience of returning outweighed the color difference. It still looks good and functions well. Will keep it, but will be very cautious with ordering other "white" items in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Boudoir Chair This stool is just what I've been looking for for a long time. I recently had my bathroom/dressing area remodeled. I put my makeup on in the dressing area and wanted something to match the decor without a back. This chair is beautiful and very high end looking. I ordered the chair in the brushed nickel with the light gray leather. You won't be sorry if you purchase it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice! This is a sturdy, comfortable vanity stool that looks great in our newly remodeled bathroom. Note that the white is an off-white, not the chalkboard white you see in the ad. It still looks good (very classy), so I kept it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Stool So happy I ordered this stool. It's lovely, it came assembled and it's totally comfortable. Huge improvement for me over the small bench I was using in the same space. It's also the perfect height for me. Makes me happy every single time I sit down on it, since I'd toughed it out with something that wasn't as nice for a while.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leather is NOT white and the frame is NOT chrome I searched for months for a vanity stool with a white seat to match my bright white cabinets and polished chrome legs to match the polished chrome finishes in my bathroom so I was so excited when I found this one! However, when it arrived the leather seat was definitely not white or really even close to it. It sticks out like a sore thumb next to my white cabinets. It's more like a really light beige. And the frame is not chrome, it's actually a polished nickel, and it even says that on the box, so I'm not really sure why they advertise it as polished chrome. So it looks bad next to my cabinet pulls that are a polished chrome. So if the finishes in your bathroom are polished nickel and your cabinets are a swiss coffee color or something similar, this stool would be perfect because it is beautiful and seems to be well constructed. Its just very frustrating that it's not as advertised. I will be returning this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stool I hesitated on this purchase after reading the reviews about its color. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. It may not be a bright white, but it's definitely white. I wish I could attach a photo of it in my white and blue bathroom. It may be more the color of heavy cream, but it's certainly white enough it doesn't ruin the room or even draw attention for being a different white. It's comfortable, the right height, and it's nice and shiny. Looks great in my bathroom at my vanity.

Can small casters be played on the bottom of the legs?

I'd like the seat to roll across the floor. Also be just a bit higher. Opinions?
Asked by: 1Sittingpretty
Yes, I think casters could be added. You'd have to take into account the added height. If the casters were very large it wouldn't look as pretty.

stool height

the catalog I recently received states the height is 18 " but it is stated as 20" online; I need it to go under an antique vanity where the exact height is crucial;
Asked by: ashevillegirl
I just measured the stool. It's just over 19 inches to the stitching on the seat. The top is slightly rounded, so that's why it probably says 20inches. My vanity opening is 25 inches from floor to bottom of drawer & fits perfectly.

Does this stool work well with the newer, taller bathroom cabinets?

I just renovated my bathroom and put in taller cabinets. I have an opening for a stool and there's one drawer. I'm not sure what height stool I should get. I think chair height stools may be too tall.
Asked by: deuce78
We just had a new makeup vanity installed in our bathroom. There's an opening so you can sit at the vanity. The opening from floor to bottom of drawer is 25 inches. This stool fits perfectly. I can even cross my legs if I want.

Can castors be added to legs?

I love this stool for my bathroom vanity but it's too short for my 32" counter. I realize this would alter warranty but can some type of casters be added to not only give it hi right but allow it to roll which I prefer.
Asked by: Pensivern
Thank you for your interest in the Bailey Vanity Stool. The legs on this stool are not designed to be attached to casters.

Is the Bailey stool available in polished nickel?

Asked by: Chaseboy
It looks more like polished nickel than chrome in real life. The picture and description is inaccurate. It is definitely not chrome.
