Don’t hesitate….Just get it!
This Beauvoir French Cane Bed is absolutely spectacular! It dresses up an otherwise ordinary, builders grade bedroom, with character and charm. I purchased the French Patina and the color does not disappoint. I was a bit leery about purchasing furniture online, sight unseen, but am so glad I did. The color definitely leans into a soft sage green, with blue and gray undertones. Your lighting and surrounding decor will influence how the color is perceived. The bed frame is very heavy. I am a fairly handy 61 year old woman and I put it together myself. I should have waited for help because I damaged the footboard. I was holding it in place while attaching it to the side rail and I dropped it causing the little decorative tip at the top of the footboard, to break off. Sigh….costly mistake and lesson learned.

Love my Beauvier French Cane Bed!
This is a beautiful bed with very authentic finish. It has superior quality and is very heavy. I would recommend paying for it to be assembled. It is easy but the bold and threads to connect it are very tight and a challenge even for the smallest hands.

Worth the Wait
I purchased this bed in the French Patina finish. Delivery took eight weeks and was well worth the wait. It is an absolutely stunning bed and the photos simply don't do it justice. We don't even need to hang artwork with it because the bed itself is such a show-stopper. The mahogany construction is very solid and sure to be an heirloom provided I can keep my cats from using it as a scratching post. The color is dependent on the light in your space so I would suggest waiting to purchase your new bedding until you receive the bed and can admire it in person. It can appear alternately gray, green, or blue, or all of them at once, depending on the circumstance. We refinished an armoire to "match" and the closest we came to the approximate color in person is SW "Austere Gray" in our location with natural daylight.
