When is the King Mahogany coming back!?
I'm really smarting we lost out chance to get this bed frame in a king size with the mahogany finish. As of January 2020 it's discontinued. Please let me know when it becomes available again!

Sturdy well made bed
Colors are def. off from the pictures on the web. The bed is a yellowish tan not what is shown. Not completely disappointed but hard to match accessories such as dressers etc. Would recommend but be aware of color variations.

Sleeping in a Beautiful French Country Bedroom!
Even though we haven't finished renovating the guest room where our beautiful Beauvier French cane bed was going into, and didn't need the delivery guys to assemble it for me, I asked them to help me open up the boxes to make sure everything was in tact. They brought them inside the house for me, and both boxes were packed and protected from damage with meticulous care; and when they took out the mahogany headboard, ooh la la!-- it was absolutely gorgeous. This bed will be the absolute showstopper of our guest bedroom! I haven't yet received my subsequent order which will accompany the bed, but I'm sure the indigo Etienne night stands, accent tables, and writing desk will even make our guest room a lovelier place to sleep.

Excellent Service
The bed is absolutely beautiful. The Frontgate employees are amazing. The delivery guy was very careful with the bed. The bed color, antique white is more like beige. I was disappointed in the color. I will have to paint it but I love the bed so much I kept it.

Buying furniture online?
I have to admit I was really nervous about buying furniture without seeing it. I called the Atlanta store to verify the color as I was interested in French Blue. Michelle was great. She sent me samples, provided free design service including color recommendations and light fixture selections. We bought this bed, dressers, nightstands, and lamps. When the furniture was delivered, we were so pleased. The quality exceeded our expectations.. Solid wood. Beautiful detail. Careful delivery. Thank you Frontgate. I would not hestate to buy anything from Frontgate. Highest quality!

My beautiful bed arrived this last week and it is a dream come true! It is beautifully made and made to last! It’s an heirloom and My daughters will have to fight for it when I am gone. It goes with my antiques. Worth the price!

We have a lineal (mechanical) bed frame that we will not be replacing...does this bed have side rails that attach to the head and foot boards that it could stand alone? Or can the head and foot board be attached separately to an existing base or frame?

The in-home delivery states it does not include assembly. Does Frontgate offer any type of assembly in addition to delivery? Additionally, for the in-home delivery do they also remove the boxes and packing from the home (take with them)?

Could this bed possibly be modified by a talented cabinet maker to work for an adjustable mattress? I’ve already ordered this bed along with side chests & dressers and have scheduled delivery for Dec 3rd. The description did not say anything about this.
