We chose to put it together ourselves and it was very easy to put together with two people. It is stable and all pieces went together well and are all flush. This bed is the epitome of luxury! Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! Heavy Duty! Unique! Fabulous! I have been looking for the right bed for a couple years now. Wanted something French looking but not bulky with a lot of heavy swirls and detailing. Then I saw this and looked at it for about 6 months until it went on sale with free shipping. I ordered the wheat and it’s a beautiful, rich color but a bit lighter than what is pictured here on the website. It goes with any color that you might want to pair it with. It was a bit difficult to put together as the last holes on the bed frame didn’t match up with the footboard. My handy husband got it done though, with a bit of muscle and time. Plus, the 1 page instruction sheet is a joke! Fortunately, we are both handy and mechanically minded so we figured it out. Plus, our stairway to the upstairs bedroom is very narrow and could not get the headboard up the stairs. There is an additional board across the bottom of the headboard that is not visible in any of the pictures provided. We ended up having to hoist the headboard up our screened-in porch from the outside and then into the door leading into our spare bedroom! I covered the whole headboard in bubble wrap and blankets! Quite an experience!

I recommend have a second person to help assemble, but I managed it myself. The parts and drilled holes are very exact, so you don't struggle at all. The headboard is quite high, which I like.

I have owned a lot of finely built furniture and this exceeded my expectations by a mile. Note that the color is much more grey than the light country blue I anticipated from the picture. Still a beautiful muti-hued finish though.

The carving is very gorgeous on the bed and very detailed. I searched for a while before I found these beautiful pieces. The pictures don't do them justice. I had a navy rug on the floor and the color of the bed did not blend well with the blue rug. The color is not a traditional blue but still a beautiful color and piece of furniture. In my room the color appeared to be more of a blueish/green. The packing was excellent for the bed and the table. I love the pieces and would highly recommend them.

Even though we haven't finished renovating the guest room where our beautiful Beauvier French cane bed was going into, and didn't need the delivery guys to assemble it for me, I asked them to help me open up the boxes to make sure everything was in tact. They brought them inside the house for me, and both boxes were packed and protected from damage with meticulous care; and when they took out the mahogany headboard, ooh la la!-- it was absolutely gorgeous. This bed will be the absolute showstopper of our guest bedroom! I haven't yet received my subsequent order which will accompany the bed, but I'm sure the indigo Etienne night stands, accent tables, and writing desk will even make our guest room a lovelier place to sleep.
