I am looking for a rug to go underneath my kitchen table, and the design and color of this looks to fit well. Are there other carpets I should consider in terms of thickness that are best for a kitchen? It would be centered under my table which is oval.

In most of the pictures, the "gold" actually looks copper. Is that accurate? Also, how is the rug edged? Is it serged with thread, or do you use fabric? And finally, is there any real silk in this? My room gets direct sunlight, so I want to avoid silk.

Beautiful, rich color rug that makes a statement. The perfect backdrop for building a breathtaking room. Paired mine with felt pad. It’s soft a lush against my beautiful hardwood floor. Lives up to the Frintgate standard. High recommend this rug.

This rug is exquisite, and high upscale style, and showstopper, Bar None! The quality is impeccable, fibers are resilient and plush to walk on. The gold accent color is Hollywood glam and luxurious, at it's finest.

Greatest Rug
Right after i ordered this rug, I had decided to cancel because I wasn't sure if it would look good. But it went into shipping within an hour of me ordering. When it arrived, i figured I'd unroll it just to take a quick look before I would then return. When i unrolled it, it was so much more beautiful than it looked online. It is by far, the softest rug in the house. The rug pad makes it feel deep, plush and very luxurious! I highly highly recommend this rug.

Great transitional rug!
Very pleasantly surprised with my beautiful rug! I have a lot of oriental rugs so I was nervous ordering this, but it’s the perfect “transitional” rug! The gold and gray combo has a luxurious feel but isn’t too overpowering for my room. And surprisingly, it is extremely lush and soft—and no carpet fuzzing! I highly recommend!

Soft and beautiful!
I appreciate reviews with photos and was so pleased with this purchase that I had to share. The rug is stunning! It's a mix of classic and modern, which is exactly our style. We had issues with bubbling initially and realized the binding needed slight stretching as it had retracted some. We stretched it flat and laid heavy items around the edge, then all bubbles disappeared. Now we are getting through the shedding phase..... but it is worth it!
It is rare that I order something from a catalog or online and love it this much, and even rarer that I write a review for it. We love the colors, pattern, softness, and even the 1ft longer than standard length, which was exactly what we needed (8' x 11'). I am seeking out another pattern now for under my bed.

Stunning!
The gray with gold is stunning, and incredibly soft. It laid flat overnight. There are lighter tones of gray/tan mixed in, so it blends with everything around it. Very happy with this rug!
