Is the propane tank concealed within the table itself?

Asked by: Rjulien999
Thank you for your interest in our Bryndle Root Fire Pit. This item does not have propane storage. We recommend our Bryndle Root Tank Cover (#166769) that cleverly conceals your 20 lb. propane tank.

is there a photo that shows the access to the gas line? Where are the batteries for the ignition? How is the system turned on.............is there a remote?

Asked by: Kay2
Thank you for your interest in our Bryndle Root Fire Pit. We apologize to do not have a photo available showing the gas line. The battery for the ignition is located where the ignition button is. It is turned on by pressing the ignition button and turning the temperature knob.

How cold can this material withstand? I live in a colder climate and even if it's not suitable to use in the dead of winter, I'd like it to not crack in the cold.

  • QUESTIONS, PRODUCT
Bryndle Root Fire Pit is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 68.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from surface chips easily I absolutely love the look of the fire pit but am very disappointed with how it has held up in the short time that we have had it. We use the cover every time that we are not using it and there are many places where the surface is chipped. It does not seem as though the surface has held up. It does not seem like the quality of product that I would expect from Frontgate.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t hold up We ordered this in the fall, 3 years ago. It arrived broken, and was replaced by Frontgate with relative ease. The first year was great. It’s gorgeous, or it was. The second fall there were a couple chips off the top. We’re diligent with keeping it covered, so this was a disappointing, and perplexing to find. We contemplated how to patch/fix, but ultimately left it with no obvious answer. The following spring, there were more. It seems the cover is either not sufficiently waterproof, or condensation gets in there, and with Denver’s freeze/thaw cycles, moisture must get in the little grooves in the “wood” finish. Expansion and contraction ensue, and the result is a crumbling of what looks like a plaster finish. A new cover every year may save you, but it’s asymmetric and the cover it comes with fits securely, so not sure if that would help? Don’t buy this if you want more than one year out of your investment, or if it freezes where you are ( But isn’t that the point of a fire pit?). So disappointing. This was a splurge for us, so still trying to get our money’s worth, but it is no longer gorgeous. It is a crumbling eyesore waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money poor quality This table was purchased in 2021 and reamined covered whenever not in use. No water was left to sit in the cover to weigh it down. When we removed the cover to use the firepit in the fall of 2022 the entire firepit was crumbling. This is way overpriced for something that will last you a year before you have to throw it out. I would a photo but we just threw it out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fire Chipped Chips everywhere just over a year. Just like all the other photos. Waiting for a response back from Front gate

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This finish of this fire pit chips After owning this product for just two years and doing all of the recommended care, the fire pit finish has begun to chip in several spots. The original beauty and unique quality of the product is gone. Very disappointed! Would not recommend buying this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware….durability issues I bought this fire pit last summer and it was absolutely beautiful. I was delighted! I used it about five times before winter came. At all times when the fire pit was not in use, I had the provided cover properly installed over the fire pit. This spring, I removed the cover and discovered that there were several areas that had paint chipped off, chunks of the composite material were laying in the pit, and a suspicious crack developed near the base of the fire pit. Soon after, I emailed Frontgate to inquire whether anyone else had this issue or if there was a warranty. I haven’t received any response. That was about a month ago. If you expect to use this for one summer only, this product is for you, but if you expect this to last for a few years, don’t waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Deteriorates rapidly in outdoor conditions We bought this fire pit in 2021 and this is what it looks like now. The concrete and fiberglass has totally dissolved around the edges of the fire basin, making a disgusting mess, even though we covered this anytime it was not in use. I would not suggest leaving this outside if you live somewhere that isn't temperate all year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't light anymore We have used this pit maybe 5 times since we purchased it. We went to turn it on the other day and it wouldn't light. No gas is coming out of it. I'm assuming the regulator went bad. Disappointing. Now I've got to find a compatible regulator and hose to replace the faulty one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from crumbled in less than one year We really love the look of this fire pit! It was beautiful and perfect for our space, however, it started crumbling after less than one year. We always kept the cover on when not in use, but I don't believe the provided cover was enough protection. Thankfully, Frontgate has wonderful customer service and is remedying our issue, but I just wanted to share our experience with this item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bryndle Root Fire Pit The propane fire pit is for our outdoor patio. Our outdoor patio is open to the elements. Rain pours into the fire pit allowing rain water to remain in the bottom of the pit. There is a flimsy plastic black cover that goes over the pit but who wants to look at cheap black plastic cover all the time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Finish is coming off Got this fire pit in June. Couldnt really use it until October. But now the wooden looking finish is coming off and is white underneath. I used the pen that comes with it to color in and try to fix but it looks awful. Would not recommend!!!!!
