Great Dachshund Bed
This bed is perfect for my miniature dachshund. I got her this bed after I saw how much she loved the bed of my parents dogs (another bed from Frontgate). She enjoys how protected and soft it is inside it. So far it has withstood chewing and digging.

Flawed
Cute bed, but there’s no way to keep the top portion up. It sags and my dog won’t go in :-(

I was wondering how the top section keeps its shape? Does it have a stabilizer in it so if won't fall down if the dog lays on top?
Thank you for your interest in our Burrow Pet Bed. There is wire in the canopy edge to create the dome shape, if the dog lays on the top instead on in the cushion area the canopy will flatten a bit.

I am worried about the canopy not staying 'up' like what some have mentioned in their reviews. Think my dog would like, but concerned about this part of it. what is recourse if product doesn't hold up?

Is the zippered cover for the cushion or the rest of the bed? What material is the "stuffing"inside of the cushion and the rest of the bed. Can it be cleaned? What is the canopy framework made of? Can it be cleaned when the cover is removed?
Thank you for your interest in our Burrow Pet Bed. To clean you will unzip the cover and remove polyfill bolster inserts and canopy wire. Rezip and wash cover only on cool setting. Wash entire inner tufted cushion. Tumble dry low heat.

Can I by a second insert for the bed?My dog liked the pillow so much she dragged it out of the bed and put the pillow in her crate (where she sleeps at night).
