Caldwell Fire Table is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous and puts off heat I am so excited about this fire table. I think it’s going to be super functional and it’s beautiful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Resort quality fire table This is a beautiful table. Assembly is easy and it's easily placed where you want it by two men before adding the propane tank, fire rocks/glass, and table tops. Feels sturdy and looks like it cost a lot more than it did. Very heavy once it's fully assembled - don't plan on moving it once it is. The fire assembly is easy to operate and even on low puts off some heat. We used FG's reflective fire glass instead of the included lava rocks and it looks amazing. FYI, we needed 60 pounds of glass to cover the bottom and gas element. It comes with a snug fitting cover that I really like, and even comes with two corrective pens for scratches. I think my only complaint is the same as the other reviewer - the glass side's table top is slightly bowed. I think the culprit is the design - the glass side has feet to protect the glass and it raises that side up slightly. When the top is exposed to humidity, the table sags a bit, onto the glass. I will say however, it's barely noticeable and would not deter me from ordering this table again. If it gets worse I will update my review, and FG's solution. We absolutely love the table. It definitely has that wow factor at a good price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Generally Awesome This piece is really pretty stunning, I've only had it for a week but have had many comments from friends and visiting family about how nice it looks. My only complaint is that the cover over the fire pit itself has warped and is a bit bowed despite never being put on within 12 hours of using the fire pit. Otherwise the whole thing appears well built and easy to use. It does require about an hour of assembly with 2 able adults, but I'm glad I got it and enjoy using it.

Can we use the light stone balls (approx 3”di) with this fire pit and is it ok to leave propane tank under table while it’s on?

Asked by: Lotsafuninthesun
Thank you for your interest in the Caldwell Fire Table. The propane tank does not go under the table where the flames are so it is fine to leave it in the compartment when the table is on. As far as the stone balls, we are looking in to this as we do not have this information.

I live in Florida and therefore must consider how to move the table in the event of a hurricane. Can this unit be moved in one piece or does it require disassembling to move?

Asked by: Kodie
Thank you for your interest in the Caldwell Fire Table. The main section of this table is one piece. Please note, the propane tank would need to be removed before moving this table.

Hi there- question for you on the recommendation not to put the firepit on wood. Is this because there is sufficient heat or danger of a spark from the bottom of the unit or? Want to understand any potential damage to the surface it sits on. Thanks!

Asked by: Patricee
Thank you for your interest in the Caldwell Fire Table. We do not recommend placing this on a wood deck or within several feet of flammable items. As with any fire table, this is due to the risk of sparks or cinders coming out of the fire and landing on the ground.

Can the fire pit be used with the propane tank in the storage area or does the tank need to be further away while in use?

If we prefer fire glass instead of lava rocks, can the burner be covered with the glass?  How much glass is required?

Asked by: Diane N
Thank you for your interest in the Caldwell Fire Table. This item can be used with 1/2 inch sized fire glass; 1/4 inch size fire glass should not be used. You will need to fill the bottom half of the fire pan 50% of the way with the lava rocks for better air circulation; then add about 10 lbs. of fire glass to the remaining top portion of the fire pan. Please note that fire glass does create a little more soot than the lava rocks, so you will need to clean the burner and the fire bowl more regularly, and also keep in mind that fire glass will reduce the flame by 30%.

Hello. I would like to put this on my wooden deck. You have noted that it should not be placed on combustible material. is there a base (or tile) layer that you would recommend applying and resting this unit on?

Asked by: msolly
