Does the Carlisle cast-top table extend out far enough on the rectangular and oval tables so that you can pull the chair up to the table to dine without hitting your knees on the table legs/support underneath?

I’m interested in buying the Carlisle Italian dining table set. You all usually don’t provide assembly. However, I would need several men helping order to lift the tabletop given how heavy it is. Do you help moving the tabletop onto the base?

finish ok with salt water?
I saw a review stating that the finish has corroded due to salt water. We have a salt water pool. Did they do something to fix that problem with the finish of this set?

Very disappointing
This is a very stylish set but the quality for the price paid has been unacceptable. The black finish looked terrible after only one season—not at all what one would expect from higher-end furniture. As a comparison, there is a little inexpensive bistro set that our daughter doesn’t have room for in her Manhattan apartment that has been sitting totally unprotected on our patio for over five years. The finish on that still looks virtually perfect. We spent THOUSANDS on the dining and seating sets from the Carlisle line expecting it to last quite a long time. Many quality issues, extremely disappointing—think long and hard before purchasing.

Avoid this furnuture!
After less than a year, finish started showing extensive feathering on dining table, 4 of 6 dining chairs, side tables, lounge chairs, love seat. After 2 years, even with use of protective covers, the finish is awful looking. Wholly unsatisfactory for furniture that is so expensive.

Finished crackled after 7 days, returned
This is an amazing outdoor furniture set in terms of size, weight, and style. Unfortunately the black finish stated showing white feathering 7 days after delivery. Frontgate suggested I wax it with car wax?? I certainly do not intend to pay this price for an item that needs waxed. Frontgate, fix this problem!!!! I have two other Carlisle pieces that have done the same thing!
