Love these chaises!
These chaises are sturdy and beautiful. The cushions are also very high quality.

Lovely, comfortable chaises
This is a lovely chaise. Comfortable, substantial, and sturdy, but they move around quite easily. For the cost, though, I would have expected that it would come fully assembled, and that's the only reason I knocked off a star! It isn't terribly time-consuming or difficult, but definitely takes two people to attach the back, and you're left with plastic packaging to dispose of. That said, I ordered four of these, and I just ordered two more plus three side tables to go with them. I think I'll be very happy with these for years to come.

Delayed disappointment
Overall I love the chaise lounges. I bought them in January 2 years ago when they were on sale. They are sturdy and gorgeous. My only disappointment came 4 months later when I wanted to buy two more with the same cushions, only to find out the fabric I had on the original two chairs was no longer available. I thought by buying from Frontgate I would be able to add to my collection for years, but it seems you should buy everything you want at the same time if you want to be sure your fabrics coordinate.

Chairs Great, Cushions, Not So Much
The actual chairs are really great. They are well made, comfortable and the black does not get hot to the touch! I’m very impressed. The standard cushions that come with the chairs are another story. They may as well be made for indoor use only. They hold SO much water it takes days to dry them out. Even when placed on their sides. Even the morning dew keeps them wet for hours. Such a disappointment that in order to actually enjoy the chairs we have to spend more money to upgrade the cushions. I just assumed they would be fine since Frontgate sold them but they are terrible.

Pretty but hope you never need replacement cushion
I bought this and the dining set a few years ago. the furniture holds up great, but the cushions need to be replaced. I went to the website and Frontgate sells reasonably priced replacement cushions - too bad they don't fit the Carlise chaise! They do sell cushions specific to the Carlisle but they are about $1,000 a piece! The regular replacement cushions on their website (same fabric, and even bigger in dimension) are about $300. Pretty offensive. I don't understand then price gouge. Customer service was unsympathetic.

Can these chaise withstand water? Sprinklers hit them daily.

However, it is not designed for water use and we do not recommend placing any outdoor furniture where it will be in the coverage area of your sprinklers or exposed to any other significant amount of moisture.
