Top of the Line
Carlisle swivel armed dining chairs are not only beautifully designed but sturdy and heavy. Not going to blow around in the wind. Needs cushions bottom and back to be totally comfortable.

No cushions
Purchased the swivel dining chairs and they arrived without cushions. Called Frontgate and was told cushions don’t come with the chairs.

Very comfortable.
This is the second time around that I’ve purchased these chairs, several went with the sale of a vacation home, so that should tell you how much I love them. Very comfortable, the rocking and swivel mechanism on the chair works wonderfully, plus they are very attractive.

Somewhat disappointed
Have bought several pieces of Frontgate outdoor furniture in the past and have always been quite pleased with its durability. These chairs are not as heavy as I expected and after a couple of months of light use the plate separated on the underneath of one chair causing it to rock uncontrollably. Frontgate promptly ordered me a replacement but I do have concerns regarding the long term durability of this line.

How do you adjust the chair so it doesn’t go so far back?
Thank you for your interest in the Carlisle Set Of Two Swivel Dining Arm Chairs In Onyx Finish. The chairs are not adjustable. However, they should not lean too far back. If the chair is leaning too far back, this is due to the spring plates being installed upside down.

Please forward any info you may have available to restore the onyx paint from sunfade. We love our collection and would like to renew from sun damage over the years. Thanks for any information.

Wax such as a car wax can be applied to this furniture to protect it from the sun and restore a shine to the finish; however, if the color has faded from the sun we do not have a recommendation to bring the color back.
