We purchased the weathered teak. Does this need to be treated to maintain the finish? Also, what if something gets spilled/stains?

Our outdoor teak pieces are not sealed prior to shipment, as many customers prefer to allow the natural aging process of teak. If you would like to maintain the natural honey-colored finish, we recommend regular application of teak oil and annual application of the teak sealant of your choice.
We recommend a regular, gentle cleaning with soft-soap flakes dissolved in warm water (not detergent). Be sure to use a non-abrasive brush or sponge, and avoid using steel wool or wire brushes. When finished, rinse the entire piece of furniture with low-pressure water to remove any dirt or remaining solution and then dry completely.

We purchased the 7 piece cassara in natural. What are the care instructions after assembly? Online reviewers have complained that teak oil conditioning does not last long? Can you use a teak sealer? SEMCO has been a recommended brand. Thoughts?

I purchased the Cassara expandable table. Love the table, but after getting wet the natural stain has dripped onto the chair cushions and caused stains. Any idea how to get the stains out?

However, our Cassara 11-pc. Estate Extension Dining Set in Natural Finish (154528) come with our Cassara Estate Extension Dining Table (154525) which extends to seat ten people, four on each side and one at each end.

Made the wife very happy
We replaced our 19 year old wicker set with this teak set and it really elevated the look of our outdoor eating area. We have since added bar stools, cushions, tables, and a piece of hanging art.

Love this table!
I purchased the Cassara Dining Extension Table. It was delivered quicker than expected. Very easy to put together. Very easy to use the extensions. Beautiful wood and finish. The only problem I had was that it was heavy so it was difficult for me to get it set-up. But once set-up I am very happy. It looks great!

Lousy delivery service
Ordered dining set with 6 chairs (one of which is defective). Unfortunately, we have not been able to use it because of delivery problems. Have/had to wait for three different shipments. It might have been only two, but the delivery company failed to deliver the table with the second shipment, as promised. They then tried to say we refused delivery of the table (not the chairs). A blatant lie as we didn't even speak with them and now I have to wait around for another delivery.

Looks great until it falls apart
My wife and I put in a brand new pool and what better way to enjoy the pool than to add this table to the patio. Furniture looked great until the chairs started to come apart. Now I’m afraid to lean back in any of the chairs as they feel like they will just come apart. So many better team sets out there, for the same (if not less) money.

Cassara 7 pc. Dining Set
Purchased the 7 pc. dining set earlier this summer with extra chairs. Arrived with wood filler masking a blemished slat on the top that was very noticeable. After much back and forth with Frontgate we decided to keep the set. As time has passed and the color faded, numerous wood filler spots have materialized. As long as you continually condition the wood they are not that noticeable. The chairs seemed to be the bright spot early on, however numerous cracks are now forming where the hardware was installed at the factory. Truly a beautiful table set from afar but a different picture up close. Craftsmanship and quality control do not seem to be a priority. Durability at the moment is not an issue, though I fear it will become one.

Extremely disappointing
The table is well-made but the chairs are an all together different story. This set was delivered less than 2 months ago and 1 side chair is already cracked. All of our side chairs noticeably wobble due to the hardware not lining up, which will likely lead to more cracking. We spent a lot of time looking at teak sets specifically because of the durability of the wood and were extremly disappointed in the quality and craftsmanship of these chairs. Also, and perhaps our fault for missing this, but we did not expect to have to assemble the set at this price point.
