Hi. What size universal chaise cover is needed to protect this chaise? The options are small, medium or large.
Thank you for your interest in the Cassara Chaise Lounge with Cushions in Natural Finish (67691). The optimal cover for this item is the Cassara Tailored Furniture Cover, item 112475. However, the small Universal Chaise Furniture Cover would also meet the specifications for the Cassara Chaise Lounge.

What is the best way to deal with the wheels on the Cassara chairs? Is there a diagram about the order and wheel placement? Thanks Marina

Truly durable and long lasting
I have had this chaise for about 12 years and am online buying another, now that my daughter and I don't fit on the same chair as comfortably anymore. What people say about the wheels is spot on, however, with such a heavy chair, I never intended to move it around frequently. It has its place of honor, with trees and such planted around it, so the wheel issue doesn't bother us. But the rest of the chair, including my ORIGINAL cushions, are still extraordinary. I'll teak oil the old one when I get the new one and I'm confident they will look lovely together and last at least another 10 years.

Love These Lounges
We have three of these chaise lounges that we have been using for a few years now. We love them. The wheels work well and allow our daughters to move them around the pool as desired. They are of quality construction. We are now ordering more for our second home.

Saw the Great Value and Bought Four of Them
Having to replace flimsy chaise lounges in the past, I decided this time to invest in quality. I wasn't disappointment with the Cassara Chaise Lounge. The teak base is substantial and well constructed. The cushions provide the right amount of support and comfort. I was so delighted, I bought one for every member of my family.

Great Chaise; buy Upgraded Cushions
Purchased two of these to replace 22+ yo similar teak chaises from an out-of-business patio goods supplier. First class quality, smooth clear finish with great joinery. I like the arms, and larger wheels than my previous loungers. I've read the complaints about the wheels from other reviewers, and found a way to remedy...the wheels develop a negative camber (top of wheel closer to frame, often touching) when the chaise has been used. Simply lift the back and get the wheels to neutral camber (straight up) and they'll roll just fine. The other minor comment is that the seat & back slats are all parallel to the chair, and cushions tend to slide down toward foot. This can be remedied with cushions with ties, but the supplied cushions (I purchased "Stock" cushions so I wouldn't have to wait weeks for delivery), did not have ties...big surprise, as I've never had cushions without at least one set of ties. I'd suggest Frontgate mention that in stock cushion specs for this product. One more thing, the back doesn't sit as upright as my older chaises..one more setting up 10-15 degrees would make these perfect. Recommend with one caveat for chaise itself, and one caveat for stock cushions.

I've had a pair of these for several years
I love the chairs, we use them all the time but the others who have reported the problems with the wheels not spinning is right on target. If you move them (which we do from time to time seeking shade), often the wheels will lock up and leave a black rubber streak on the patio.

Beautiful Chaise But.....
We've had our chaise loungers at least 10 years now. We recently power washed them and put wood oil on them and they LOOK brand new. However, what everyone says about the wheels is correct. They've always been hard to roll; we've tolerated that. We recently requested a single wheel replacement (because the rubber came off), and we requested 2 sets of wheel hardware. The run around I'm getting is positively ridiculous. I've shown them their own parts list and told them exactly what we need and are prepared to purchase (not get for free) what we need. If there are still selling these chairs why can you not get replacement parts for a lounger that cost well over $1000 each? Frontgate is really lacking in their customer service. You definitely are NOT getting what you pay for.

Wheels & weight kill a good thing
These are really nice chairs - solid construction, durable, nice looking etc.
But they have two fatal flaws that combine to doom the chair. First, the wheels just do not spin freely. You are left to either tighten the bolts and not spin wheels, or leave bolts loose and spin wheels. The problem w/ the latter strategy is soon the wheels will fall off. This makes transport of any distance or frequency a disaster. I literally loathe moving these chairs in and out of my house every spring / fall.
The second flaw is they are incredibly heavy and cumbersome. Which might be bearable absent the movement issue discussed above. But combined together they ruin the chair.

Poor Wheels
Lounge has held up fairly well thru 2 years of central Texas sun and heat and they sit on the west facing patio with zero shade. Having to power wash this year and will try staining. The only problem is the wheels, they lock up and if you drag it there are rubber skid streaks left on the sundeck that will not come off. I've tried power washing and scrubbing with a brush. I would not buy these again.
