Thank you for your interest in the Chrome Laundry Hamper. This hamper has been tested to hold approximately 241 lbs. overall, with the fabric hamper holding approximately 93 lbs., the shelf holding approximately 51 lbs., and each drawer holding approximately 31 lbs.

Is the assembly needed extensive and what tools are required? Also, how large is ea canvas bag, like each one's width and height? Can you please tell me the approximate amount of space between the shelves, and how wide they are? Thanks!
Thank you for your interest in the Chrome Laundry Hamper. This item does require assembly and includes assembly instructions with eight steps. This item comes with the wrench needs for assembly; the only extra tool you will need is a hammer or rubber mallet for ensuring the posts are fully inserted into the bottom shelf.
The included hamper is approximately 17.75"W x 13.75"D x 20.6"H overall with a divider in the center. Each basket drawer is approximately 8"W x 13.75"D x 3.75"H.

Well worth it.
I've purchased this Laundry Hamper several weeks ago and I'm extremely happy with it. The canvas part has a divider which can hold a load of was in each side so I can sort dirty clothes by color. We have a lot of unmatched socks, so each person has one side drawer to go to for their missing socks. Very sturdy. Nice wheels. Others complained about fitting shelves and drawer slides onto legs. I had no problem, as I noticed that all shelving corners have cylinders that are slightly narrower on the top than the bottom to accomodate the plastic 2 piece sleeves they sit on. This hamper has a small footprint and is easy to move because of the sturdy wheels.

Nice sleek Hamper
This is exactly what I was looking for to put in my walk in closet. Very sturdy, narrow and nice on wheels. Plenty of room for two loads and the trays are nice for extra storage. Also it was easy to put together by myself.

This is exactly what I wanted. Most hampers are flimsy and they wobble back-and-forth. This one is solid as a rock. It was definitely not cheap, but worth it because it will be sturdy and last!
