Comfy Couch Pet Bed is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 2626.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from inserts do not have covers inserts do not have covers. The foam "floor" has no waterproof barrier so if accidents happen, you have to clean a large piece of foam. It also makes it difficult to put back in the cover. I put the foam in a large plastic bag, which helps. The bolster arms are polyester stuffing inserted in the flimsiest synthetic cloth that wrap for no apparent reason. Again if you need to wash these parts of the dog bed -- and -- you will want to, then its even a bigger nightmare. For the price of this dog bed, one would expect to be able to clean it and have the parts last more than a year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible Inner Bolster Covers I normally do not write reviews but I was so frustrated by my experience today reassembling this dog bed after washing the cover that I had to leave a review. The good; the cover washes great and looks great. The bad; the inner cover which holds the stuffing in place is extremely cheap and thin. I had to wash the cover today as my dog got sick in her bed. I removed the bolsters carefully because there was already a hole in the bolster cover which I had used duct tape on to prevent the stuffing from coming out. I have attached a picture of what happened when I reinserted the bolster. This should not happen with a product which Frontgate sells. The kicker is - this is the second bed in about 8 years I have bought from Frontgate. The inner bolster covers fell apart in the first bed as well. My thought in purchasing another bed was that surely Frontgate had addressed this problem with poor quality. They have not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delayed, delayed, delayed.... I ordered this bed in January. It’s March. Delayed for the 3rd time now and not expected until end of March when it will likely be delayed again. Don’t waste your time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I’ve had this bed 5 years and my dog still lays in it everyday. Every part is machine washable, granted it’a pain. Looks great after washing. Very pricey for a dog bed but would definitely purchase again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8 years ago this was a very smart purchase I recently retired my dogs favorite bed.i bought it for my 2 dachshunds who has 5 puppies in it. It was super high quality and this design is really genius. I didn't find the cushion covers or the exterior cover to be poor quality at all. I actually did furniture upholstery for a living and had copied the design to make a new cushion after the babies left to go to their new homes simply because there was nothing wrong with the rest of the bed and my little ones really loved it. From the current reviews I'm wondering if the suppliers/producers of this have decided to cut corners for bigger profits? That seems to be a recurring problem with successful companies. I wonder why they can't look at the inevitable outcome of that? It's like watching MTV's cribs, then watching vh1's behind the music when the 48 bedroom mansion featured earlier is auctioned off to pay debts... It's amazing to watch the lack of foresight and complete lack of forward planning.... I was going to order a smaller one because one of my little friends passed away and the other is now nearly 21 years old i wanted to give him a gift for his birthday. He's been so cozy in the old bed, but it's too big and frankly tattered now. It's hard to stuff these cushions and bolsters back into the bed after it's washed, but frankly there's a sacrifice for the fantastic design of it. I don't see any way they could have made it like this and not require you to work up a sweat putting it back together. I always felt it was worth it. I did use some fabric from all old dust ruffle to patch up the bolster because about 4 years in I ripped it on accident. I really cannot say I've ever seen a better dog bed. It's still nearly a decade later, impressive to me. I guess I'll have to decide if I want to risk buying a lot quality version today. I have to say I think the bed I bought was worth every penny any I paid full price. We got nearly 9 years of memories and cozy sleeps out of it. I hope they aren't cutting the quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wonderful bed - if you never have to wash it I've bought two of these beds in the past 6 years and my 48-lb border collie LOVES them. However, if you're considering purchasing this, be sure to read the reviews about the problems washing these beds (the five star reviews are probably from people who haven't had to wash theirs yet). Specifically, when you remove the bolsters, their covers are paper thin and tear insanely easily - so you end up with huge mounds of fluff spilling out everywhere. After washing the cover, you then have to try to stuff all of the loose fluff back into the bed to recreate its nice shape, which is not easy. I dread washing these. If the bolster covers were better quality and didn't tear, I'd give this bed 10 stars. But given the issues and the fact that you can't buy replacement bolsters, this bed is definitely not worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bed ever We originally purchased one of these beds at a garage sale - best deal we ever found at a garage sale. With two Labrador Retrievers in our house it got a lot of use. After about 9 years of the garage sale bed, we decided to buy a new one as a Christmas present for our dog Ruby. She loves it as much as the first one. These beds last. And I love being able to launder them when needed. Ruby loves her new bed and still loves the old one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Our dogs vote this the best bed ever! :) We have a lab and a staffy and both of our dogs absolutely love their beds! They are super comfy and are easy to clean as you can throw the covers in the washing machine. We love them so much we have bought four (yes four!) over the years and even the first one is still going strong! We have tried both the velvet and the linen and I would say that our dogs definitely prefer the velvet, softer and cozier. We have tried many dog beds and these are by far the best! :)
