Good looking chandelier
This light has great quality for the price. The brass feels very solid and has a great patina, and is worlds better than any builder-grade light. That said, two things surprised me -- one, the light shade has a solid brass/gold finish on the interior, so there is no light transmission through the shade. It is all reflected, and looks nice, just not what I expected. Two, the installation was annoying; if you have never done it yourself before, don't start with this one. The instructions were very vague, and there were no instructions at all on how to install the shade, which comes in a separate package. Hint: you have to disassemble the light the install the shade. Frontgate should consider the ease of install and/or assembly with its products -- those are part of the user experience! Overall still a great looking light, but hire an electrician.

I find this one side view of this pendant quite limiting, as the shade is cilindrical, I would like to be able to see how the pendant looks from inside the shade and from below as I am considering this pendant as a dining room ceiling light fixture.

Is there just one 40watt bulb or 5 chandelier bulbs that are 40w? The catalog says the diameter is 14”? While your sight says 24”. Which is it? I can’t tell I what type of cord? Chain link?
Thank you for your interest in our Dabney Pendant. This item uses 3 60 watt max type B candelabra bulbs, the metal portion under the shade is 14"W x 14"D and the shade is 24"dia x 10"H. It includes a 6 ft. chain shown in the dining room scene photo.

What does the ceiling attachment, mounting plate look like?
