beautiful lamp, but beware - is actually 31" tall
I was expecting a lamp that was 26.5" in height, as is stated in the description, but it is a full 31" tall and now I need to decided if it's just too big for the location...
If I decide it's too tall, I will be asking Frontgate for free return shipping since their posted description is absolutly incorrect - and it matters if it's 5 inches taller!!

Truly beautiful piece. Only complain is that since the shade is solid/opaque, it does not allow a lot of light out.

Much larger than the dimensions listed
Definitely a quality lamp but the height is 31 inches and shade 16 inches - much larger than the listed dimensions. Also, it's a very shiny brass finish - not quite what I expected from the photos but I realize that could be my screen settings. I was surprised that they were so far off on the dimensions. I have had great success with Frontgate items in the past.
