DeLonghi Oil-filled Safety Heater is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty in Winter We have a bathroom that is a bit away from the normal heating source and it has 2 large windows that tend to let in a lot of cold air. The little heater is just the ticket to make the room comfortable. The timer on the heater adds to the usefulness since I do not have to jump up and set the heater in the morning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job This heater really does the trick. Our bathroom is nice and warm now in the mornings. We love how it is programmable so that the temperature is just right when we wake up. and energy isn't wasted when we aren't in the room. Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Heater Sweeter The space heater works great and we appreciate the timer. We set it to warm up the bathroom in the morning after a 60 degree night and it takes the edge off the chill. It also looks to be about as safe as you can get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Repeat purchase I have now bought three DeLonghi Oil-filled Safety Heaters in the past few years. They heat well and are quiet. That is a plus for me since I dislike the noise of a blower. I use them in various rooms for cold spots.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for small room I purchased this heater with the intent of having a toasty bathroom in the winter months. Specifically I purchased this model due to the enclosed nature of the oil system (as opposed to an open electrical element) and timer. It is nice but it was much smaller than I anticipated and doesn't heat up the bathroom as much as I would have liked due to its smaller size. If it were larger it would be great. The only other suggestion I might make would be the ability to have two schedules (one for weekdays and one for weekends) since a warm bathroom at 5 AM on a Saturday doesn't do anything for me!

DeLonghi Oil-filled Safety Heater - does this timer turn the product on AND off?

Asked by: LarryBobby
The timer on this heater will turn the heater on and off. There are 96 notches around the dial. Each notch represents 15 minutes. Your appliance can be programmed to switch itself ON and OFF at the time you want. With the timer you can approximate your settings to within 15 minutes and program up to 48 cycles (1 cycle = 1 “ON” + 1 “OFF”) over a period of 24 hours (12 hours a.m.+12 hours p.m.). The notches can be pushed inwards or pulled outwards by merely using your finger tips. When the notch is in the inward position (towards the center of the dial), the heater will operate during that 15 minute period. If the notch is in the outward position, the heater will not operate during this period. If you want to bypass the timer, all notches must be pushed inward.
