For hard surface only, we would recommend the Nonslip Area Rug Pad (Solid-surface Flooring), item #101501. For carpet only, we would recommend the Carpet-to-Carpet Area Rug Pad, item #101493. For either surface type, we would recommend the Best Quality Rug Pad (Solid-surface or Carpet), item #101518.

what color would you say this is? My dining set is a honey colored maple and i am looking for a rug this color.
is this rug soft under foot? Jute rugs I have seen before are quite thin and scratchy feeling

Destin Natural Fiber Rug
We could not be more pleased. The rug was as represented on the Frontgate website. Placing the order was very easy and delivery of the rug and rug pad was earlier than originally promised. soft and textured feel - classic jute rug
I bought this a month ago and it lightens my dark-tiled bedroom. The neutral color and style works with the various furnishings I have. This rug thick with the rug pad underneath and feels soft on bare feet.

Beautiful Texture
I purchased 5' x 8' Destin rug to use over hardwood floors in my family room. I love it. It has a rich color and texture. It's very soft on bare feet. It combines well with leather, antiques, and just about any decor. I intend to layer it with a hide rug for added interest but it is quite lovely as it.

loose braids
Love the rug, but loose braids popping up. Not sure if you're supposed to cut them or ignore them. Edge on 2 sides is high, but it has already worn down so we dont trip over it. Not to much shedding.

Beautiful rug!
This rug is alot lighter than the pictures!! It worked okay for me thank goodness! It is thick on the ends which is a tripping feature. It is a nice thick quality rug. It has no odor and does not shed. It looks very coastal.

Not for me.
I purchased this rug for use in our family room. The rug arrived and its color was ulighter than the photos on the Frontgate site. I also didn’t like that the braided material had many loose pieces and shed its fibers. Each end of the rug has a thick band that causes a trip hazard and appears unfinished. The rug is nice looking but for the price I decided to return the rug. I am currently awaiting a replacement wool rug from Frontgate.
