Proceed with caution
So, the rug looks great, and is surprisingly soft. It’s a little thick, but we have gotten used to it. However, Our dining rooms chairs do not slide on this rug, which is a negative. The most concerning thing is that it is developing huge “pulls” where tufts of rug pop up (similar to a pull in a sweater). This is very concerning as we have only had it for a few months, and we already have quite a few.

unraveling becore my eyes
I got this rug 2 months ago, loved the color,texture, the whole look but now it looks horrible. The rug just seems to be unraveling, loose braid fibers all over the rug. I hope Frontgate will allow returns or exchange. Im very disappointed.

For hard surface only, we would recommend the Nonslip Area Rug Pad (Solid-surface Flooring), item #101501. For carpet only, we would recommend the Carpet-to-Carpet Area Rug Pad, item #101493. For either surface type, we would recommend the Best Quality Rug Pad (Solid-surface or Carpet), item #101518.

what color would you say this is? My dining set is a honey colored maple and i am looking for a rug this color.
is this rug soft under foot? Jute rugs I have seen before are quite thin and scratchy feeling
