Candle Light Dreams
Candles are so realistic I've experienced people reminding me to extinguish them before leaving the house. The versatility of an On/Off Switch or Timer Switch or the use of the Remote to use at will make these a lovely addition to my home's ambiance. I have purchased the large single Dream Candles and all have performed perfectly and last for years.

Love the idea, just not these
I love the look of these candles. I use electric candles such as these all over the house--especially at the holidays. I never have to worry about forgetting to put a candle out, and burning down the house. I loved my first set so much, I bought 2 more! But...very disappointed now. For some reason, when I use batteries in these candles, something in the candle makes the batteries break open, thus ruining the whole thing. I use Duracell batteries, brand new, and over the last few months, I have lost 6 of these candles. I use the same batteries in other items in my house, and none of them burst open. I think that there is something wrong with the candles themselves. If it happened once, maybe twice, ok. But to have it happen in 6 so far, that is unacceptable. I have tried to clean them up inside, changed batteries, etc., but they will never work again. They were kind of costly to lose them like this, even though I did get them on sale. I don't blame Frontgate, it is a manufacturing issue.

re tea lights.
is it the same technology for these tea lights? Do the "flames" move like the larger candles do?
We have used these for about 6 months? I had a a candle in a holder by the stockings and I moved the stocking away from it. It looks that real that I kept getting an uncomfortable felling that the stocking would catch fire even though it's not real. It was an instinctive reaction.

Will the Dream Candle survive outdoors?
Also, will it turn on everyday and stay on for 5 hours?

The timer will turn the candles on at he same time every day as long a the battery has a charge. For outdoor candles we recommend our Battery-operated Flameless Outdoor Candles (44230).

Do these operate with a remote control? If not, can candles stay on longer than a five hour duration? Where do you turn on and off the candles?
