Durachill Beverage Dispenser is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 128.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I use my dispenser in the kitchen on the weekends to keep fruit flavored water available for the family so the 3 gallon would have worked better but it was no longer available. The 5 gallon would be great for parties. It really does keep drinks cold for hours...I just add more ice in the dispenser as the water level gets low and its stays cold all weekend. It is very will made, solid stainless. I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Dispenser This is a high quality dispenser that works extremely well. We liked it so much that we ordered a second one! The two ice chambers really do a great job of keeping the contents cold for an extended period of time. We also love the sleek appearance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice looking and functional Used it at pool party with fruit infused water and was a big hit. Had to replace ice in top chamber a couple times throughout the party but it did an admirable job keeping the water cool considering was outside all day. I had no problem with the spigot leaking as some have had. Chamber is plastic so easy to carry though at this price would expect glass. Overall a bit pricey but performs well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3-Gallon Beverage Dispenser Overall this was a good purchase. I have used the product once and I am concerned about the spigot. It appears to leak after shut-off. I will make a return decision after a few additional uses.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product. Would recommend. This is so convenient to have when serving a crowd. The only drawback is removing the reservoir to refill the ice in the lower chamber. It is heavy when liquid is in the dispenser.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beverage dispenser I love to entertain , especially in the summer , this dispenser allows me to fill it up and keep it cool and have fun with my guest instead of checking on the drinks constantly. Such excellent quality. Well worth the money and keeps the drink cold for hours !!! Can't praise it enough!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wife wants to use daily! We bought for up coming wedding festivities. After receiving the 3 gal model I filled it with a gallon of bottled water and some lemon slices. My wife and I drank from it for two days replenishing the ice every 16 hours or so. Now my my wife wants to use it 24/7 and try cucumber slices. Bottom section holds additional ice to add cooling capacity.

Nothing comes out with plastic insert in the spigot. I removed it and the liquid comes out open and closed. What am I doing wrong?

I am concerned with the reviews I saw about leakage. Can you please address that?

Asked by: JB50
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. In case the spigot comes loose or one notices leakage from the spigot, please do the following: Tighten the spigot by holding it from the outside in a straight position and tighten the nut inside the jar until it stops moving.

Presales questions

1. In the pictures, the spigot on the 5 Gallon model appears to be a bit closer to the bottom of the reservoir than the 3 gallon model, which would allow dispensing more contents before having to refill. Is this true? I'm partial to the 5 gallon model anyway. 2. Does the reservoir have (as I suspect) a cylindrical "lip" that fits down into the metal base, thus preventing it from tipping when inserted in the base? 3. Is the top ice chamber stainless steel, or plastic?
Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your interest in Frontgate. In reference to your question, the bottle is made of plastic. The base, lid, and icer liner are stainless steel. The spigots are at the same height, yet different placements, on the dispenser. This allows the glass to sit underneath properly. The plastic bottle fits securely into the base.

Will the spigot clog with things like lemon or fruit pulp?

I want to use it for real lemonade and I wonder if the pulp will clog the spigot. Also, if I freeze fruits like strawberries, raspberries, citrus to further enhance the coldness will it impede the flow of liquid? So far, very happy with purchase.
Asked by: shugie
you should be fine if the pulp is very fine. we typically strain our real fruit juices and remove seeds (like those typically seen in raspberries). though the purpose of drinking "pulp" in juices is for that reason, some pulp (if large) may impede the flow of the juice. the good thing is that you can unscrew the spigot and clean it out. we love this product.
