Poor quality
This umbrella stand looks nice enough, but appears to suffer from serious quality issues. The stand is made of pieces of stiff moulded plastic sealed together; the first one we bought was significantly cracked around the seam where the table pieces were joined together. Upon replacement the second one was cracked along a seam in the body of the elephant. We are debating about trying out a third one. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality than this.

Nice!
Table was a Mothers Day gift. Arrived on time & packaged well. Looks like a quality piece, great looking & nice detail. Mom was very happy with it. Hopefully it will last and hold up well in the South Florida heat & humidity.

Much nicer than pictured
I have been looking at this table for several months and finally decided to take the plunge and order it. The table is much better in person and easy to assemble and fill with sand. It comes with a 'plug' that goes over the opening where the umbrella goes, which we did not see at first. Once we found the cover, it was easy to add the sand. The table is large enough for drinks for two plus sunglass and books. I ordered another one!

Great piece for Patio
Received my elephant umbrella table. It's perfect for our patio. Easy to assemble. Composite material provides stability without it being too heavy to move as you decide location to place. Has the look of stone.
With umbrella in place, I decided not to fill with sand as it seemed weighted down sufficiently.
Comes with plug for umbrella hole should you decide not to use with an umbrella.
Will see how it withstands the elements over the summer.

Unique table
Seems to be a well made product and a very comfortable size. Only had it a short time, so durability is untested. Very disappointed in the actual color. It is a sandy yellow, not the white color in the picture. This color really doesn't work for me so I may paint it. Also feel the price was a bit high for what it is. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.

Nice but...
I like the elephant table but the one and a half inch piece that fits in the center of the top is actually more like one and 3/8 inch, meaning that my umbrella pole will not fit in it....which is the reason I bought the table. Frontgate said the manufacturer would contact me about it, but I have not heard from them.

How is it filled with sand? Does the top come off?
Yes, the top and the base are 2 separate pieces. Doesn't need the sand if using without an umbrella.

is this heavy enough for a 9' side arm umbrella?
Yes. I have a Square 9 foot and with the 38 pounds of sand , It has held up with the Florida winds
