Essential EZ Bed Inflatable Guest Bed is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 1522.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Quality - My third one! We purchased two of the queen size beds more than 10 years ago. We have four grown children and they were always visiting, usually with friends. We've had people sleep on these for months at a time and they say it is very comfortable (we do have a mattress topper that we put on it). Both of these beds are comfortable and are STILL working! The only issue we've had is that in the past year the vinyl coating on the inside of the case has started to flake off to the point that we have to help the bed open and close a little as it gets hung up on the torn pieces. I am ordering another Queen size today to keep at my daughters new home so that when I visit I will have my own bed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for visiting guests Great bed! Barely lifted a finger to set it up and take it down. We have 4 bedrooms, three already furnished, but didn’t want to buy another full bedroom set since it’s only the two of us and we rarely have 3 guests simultaneously. The fact that it’s on wheels makes it even easier to put away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS INFLATABLE BED IS WONDERFUL My weekend guests said it was a comfortable bed. I have not slept on it yet, but I will so I can know what my guests know about the comfort. It is very easy to set up and take down. Compact storage. I am very pleased with the EZ Bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bed Ez bed is wonderful. Not only does it set up just like the video but it is extremely comfortable. I bought a King size mattress for our guest room while we were doing a remodel of the master bedroom. I have personally slept on this bed for 3 weeks and I sleep better than I did before on our expensive mattress. I am planning on buying twin beds for when my grandchildren visit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Inflatable Bed Bed was easy to set up and adjust firmness. So nice to have one that wasn't on the floor. Didn't loose any air while up for several days and was just as easy to deflate and store. Happy to have made this purchase.

I am ordering two twin beds for my grand sons, do I really need the comfort pump or will the mattress deflate during the night? Also how many pounds will the Queen hold? Thank You

Asked by: Butter Bud
Thank you for your interest in the Essential EZ Bed Inflatable Guest Bed. The queen size can hold up to 450 lbs. Even without the comfort pump this bed will not deflate during the night. However, due to temperature changes caused from use, it may loose a bit of firmness especially if it is left up for more than one night.

Does the EZ Bed automatically stop when all of the air is out of it?

Asked by: BCLR
no, it does not. I usually turn the knob to deflate and then come back about five minutes later and push the end of the bed towards the head of the bed (while the deflate is still running) to compact the bed up so the case can zip around it. As I compact it up with the deflate still engaged, I find it that it sucks out the last bits of air more thoroughly so the final zip-up is easy.

How easy is it to deflate this bed?

How easy is it to deflate this bed and put it back in the case? It is for our 12-year-old's frequent sleepovers & we'd like her to put it away herself... Our biggest priority and looking for a bed is ease of setting up and putting away... thank you for your insight!
Asked by: KatieOregon4
Inflating and deflating were so easy! We barely had to lift a finger. We’re very pleased with the bed.

does it have a plastic order when first opened? I see sturdy legs to raise bed but don't see wheels. Is that a different bed?

SS-EZT Hideaway Twin Guest Air Bed with Integrated Travel Case
Asked by: purrfect
Thank you for your interest in the Essential EZ Bed Inflatable Guest Bed. This item should not have a plastic smell when opened; however, any smell from the packaging should go away after opening the item. The legs on this item do not have wheels, but the case does have wheels for moving the item while it is deflated and closed.

What are the differences between the EZ Bed Sheet Set & a regular set of sheets? Advantages?

Asked by: BellaB
I'm not sure. When the EZ beds first came out, they had sheets that had a place to attach a bed ruffle (which was sold separately) that would attach to the bottom edge of the fitted sheet and would cover all the metal legs from showing. So buying those specific sheets made sense if you wanted the bed ruffle. When I bought my two EZ beds, the bed ruffle wasn't an option anymore so I simply use regular bed sheets and have not had any problem. Hope that helps!

Can it be stored on its side?

Is it alright to have the bed stored upright on the small side with the wheels, as you would rolling luggage, instead of the larger bottom? It fits better this way in the closet.
Asked by: KevinB
yep, that is how I store my two EZ beds in my large closet and I have not had any problems. They are super easy to just roll in and out whenever I need them. Hope that helps!

Good for seniors? Does this creak?

I'm considering buying this for my mother when she visits. She's almost 80 and in poor health. Would this bed be easy for her to get in and out of? I had the original version of this. The support would creak every time you moved. I had to stuff washcloths underneath the mattress and underneath each leg of the bed to stop the noise. I finally gave up and got rid of it. Is the bed, when inflated, as silent as a standard bed when you change position?
Asked by: csandst1
Thank you for your interest in the Essential EZ Bed Inflatable Guest Bed. When inflated this item is 24"H making it easy to get in and out of. There may be some noise from the mattress fabric when you change position in the bed, but it should be minimal and unnoticeable. The frame itself should not creak as long as you do not exceed the weight capacity for each size.
