Essential EZ Bed Inflatable Guest Bed is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 1584.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from New bed after5 years I had one of these beds but the mattress popped after 5 years. There is no replacement mattress so I bought another bed because I love the convenience of this for guests and that it stores in a closet. So when it works it’s a 5 but because of the problems I gave it a 4

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed with the quality of this bed... I bought this bed to use for sleepovers when my son has a guest spend the night...he is 12 and not one of them has exceeded 100 lbs. It has been used a maximum of 20 times since I purchased. It developed a hole in the mattress so I used the patch kit to fix. That seemed to work. However, a couple of weeks later the air pump began malfunctioning and even though it was in inflate mode, it began to deflate. When I called Frontgate as I thought this wasn't right, they said it was outside of the warranty period and I would have to buy a new mattress. Do not waste your money as this bed will not last long and I cannot even imagine what would have happened if it had been used by an adult.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok for kids, not for elderly people- inflatable not stable enough for an older person.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It was great until it wasn’t. We bought the EZ Bed as a spare bed for our Shore house. We used it occasionally and it worked great, but one night it totally deflated and after locating the leak - near a leg just like everyone else, I tried patching it TWICE using the repair patches that came with the bed. But after following the directions and waiting the allotted time, we inflated the bed and the patch became detached both times. No more spare bed for us.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great concept, poor design I wish I had read the reviews. Most were good. Had I reviewed it in the first year I would have said the same. It is great the way it unfolds and back for storage. But sadly, our has suffered the same fate after using it only a handful of times. There is a leak right where one of the legs meets the mattress. Doubtful from what everyone is saying it can be repaired. Extremely sad at spending so much for this to happen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bed Bought this bed in queen size in January when we moved into a new house and did not have our furniture from our old house. My teenage son slept in it from early February to the end of May, every night. Always comfortable, no air leaks. It was a lifesaver. We have not had to use it again since May but had no issues, worked as promised. Now it is stored easily in a closet. Easy to set up, easy to put away. Only negative is you can't really tuck in the top sheet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CAUTION!! Inexplainable, un-patchable leaks! DON'T BUY IT. We've had this 18 months, used it 5 times, and now it's an unbelievably heavy paper weight in our garage (just like the wall clock we also bought from Frontgate). Like other reviews we just read, the mattress has developed two leaks somewhere in the joint between the legs and the mattress. Given the location, it's impossible to locate and therefore patch the holes. But it's clearly a design flaw as there's no other way we could have punctured it in there. Now I have to pay for a large trash pickup to dispose of this expensive lump of garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Guest Bed I have been sleeping on this bed for years at my sisters. Finally got one for our house and everyone loves it as it feels as great as a real bed yet compact and so super easy to use. If you need an air mattress, this is a must-have.

If I want to inflate the bed using an inverter plugged into a car cigarette lighter what watt converter would I need?

Asked by: Ramie
Thank you for your interest in the Essential EZ Bed Inflatable Guest Bed. The pump for this bed is built into the side of the bed. You will not be able to use a differed pump. To use a car for power you would need a converter that has a standard plug attachment for standard US voltage. Please note, we do not recommend using this item outdoors.
