Understated & timeless, without feeling faux
The Etienne Chiffarobe is simple, understated, and elegant all at once. I have several rooms it can go in, and I can't decide which....it will be a lovely addition to dining, living, or even master bathroom for storage of soft-colored thirsty towels. The drawers are assuringly well made and smooth glide. The finish overall is very authentic, antique impression, without a forced faux feel. It arrived in perfect condition. Couldn't be happier with this Chiffarobe!

Perfect for bathroom storage
I am so happy with this cabinet. It is used in our bathroom for storage of linens and toiletries. The first one arrived in less than perfect condition, but customer service got another “perfect” one out to me quickly. It is good to know that Frontgate stands behinds it products.

Great Purchase!
This Etienne Chifforobe is a solid piece of furniture and is the perfect addition to our powder room. We chose the linen color and it is as described. All the drawers are soft close and glide smoothly. The glass shelves fit perfectly. I was not wanting to spend this much money but I don’t regret it now. I would definitely purchase this brand of furniture from Frontgate again!

New job, new WFH office space
Purchased two of these chifforobes and the coordinating desk and love my new WFH office space! Everything was shipped with care and set up in the room exactly where I wanted them. Good quality materials. It took me a long time to decide to purchase two of these due to the price but am so glad I did!!

One of a kind Linen cabinet
simply loved this classic, and outstanding chifforobe. The size is appropriate for narrow wall space, yet very functional. this unique piece added the wow factor to my bathroom!

Gorgeous Piece with Disappointing Execution
A substantial, lovely piece...provided you get a decent one. I had been lusting after this Etienne Chifforobe for ages before I finally decided to pull the trigger. It took a month to be delivered but when it finally arrived I was absolutely thrilled...until it came out of the box. This collection is meant to be antiqued, so that is to be expected, but the one delivered to me had a nail poking out the side and looked like the front had been dragged over a rough concrete curb - and it was brand new out of the box so Frontgate allowed it to leave the factory like this. So disappointing but I thought maybe I could repaint it myself. It's that pretty. I go to pull open the door the the hanging part of the knob came right off in my hand. I put it in the top drawer and scheduled by return. So much potential but be prepared for disappointment.

I noticed that these are "slow close" drawers. Does that mean no closing mechanism on them at all? How far do the drawers open?
