How do you clean the Fleur de Lis Wool Runner and what should i place under the rug to prevent rug sliding

I vacuum the rug with the beater bar turned off on my vacuum or I take it outside and shake it. I also spot clean it with a damp microfiber cloth as needed. It's easy to care for. I put a liner under the rug to hold it in place on our hardwood floor.

I call it my red carpet!
I have a long tiled narrow hallway and this was the most perfect solution for it. I love the design, the quality (superb) and how it feels under my feet - thick but not too thick - soft but not too soft. I tried putting a rug pad but did not need it. An absolutely fabulous buy. It just looks so elegant and has solved a major problem fir us.

Just what I was looking for!
Purchased two of these runners to go in our hallway. Nice looking, good feel under your feet. I have one by the door and another nearby under a bench where we take our shoes off when we come in the house. I like the rugs so much I'm having curtains and a cushion made to go with them.
