Folding Poolside Seat is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Find I finally found a way to combine reading a book without the pages getting wet and staying cool with my feet in the water. A perfect blend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from folding poolside seat- it’s terrible I bought this and it’s very uncomfortable! The unnatural angle when open is so disappointing. I had a different seat in the past and wanted another since but this one is worthless. I’m glad I only bought one

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor manufacturing The one I bought was used just a few times at the pool. Something failed inside it, like a broken piece of metal, and it never worked after that. It is useless and a piece of garbage. I do not recommend it at all,

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality We have purchased many poolside pieces from frontgate because of their appeal, but none of them have been able to sustain outdoor conditions for more than a year. The material from the pool float lounger and seat, cracked and tore apart with light use. We end up throwing away 4 pool float loungers and 3 seats after 1 pool season. We expected with the pricing and appeal of the products they would be more durable, but that’s not the case. You are better to spend the money with a pool/spa company that is equal price range and give you longevity in their products. I suggest save your money you know will be way less and not last more than 1 season

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I bought this seat for my husband for Fathers Day because he likes to read by the pool. It did fine for me (a bottom heavy petite female) but as soon as my husband sat in it and leaned back we heard it "pop" and now it just sits way too far back to be of any use. I do not know if ours was just defective or if it just isn't supposed to be used by heavier builds. He is a muscular 5'11, 190 lbs. I wish I would have kept my packaging and tried to return it. This product was very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from most uncomfortable pool side chair I don't get it. My family and I thought these were the most uncomfortable chairs. You don't sit upright, the chair rocks you back in a balancing act position and strains your neck. You can't relax sitting in this chair, you're constantly straining your body to sit. These are going back.

We ordered two of these and are having difficulty getting them to an angle of about 115 degrees as pictured.

What can you do to get them more flexible and usable as intended? Leaning back does nothing to change the angle. Right out of the box they seem to be stuck at 80 degrees forcing you to sit forward in a very uncomfortable position.

Thank you for your interest in the Folding Poolside Seat. We are sorry to hear about the issue with your item. This seat should go into a 90 degree angle when sat it, simply lean back until comfortable. If this issue persists, please contact our customer service at 1-888-263-9850 or service@frontgate.com.

I just received the two I ordered and also can't get them to recline as pictured.

Your other answer said to sit back in them. Doing so makes the seat come up like a V.

The Folding Poolside Seat does not recline. It goes into a 90 degree angle so that it can be sat in, or it can be folded up for storage.
