Durable and beautiful piece of furniture
I purchased the Francis teak storage cabinet for my back patio.. It arrived well packaged and without damage.. It is well constructed and a beautiful piece of furniture.. It holds my audio equipment with plenty of room for extra storage.. I am happy with this purchase and Recommend this item to other interested customers

TEAK STORAGE CABINET
It's a nice piece but wondered why they did not put the wood slats on the piece tight together to get a nice seal so dirt and dust does not get into the cabinet. If you have dishes in it and it's outside whats stopping all the dirt and dust from getting inside. I now have to go to store and purchase some kind of foil or paper that will seal the cabinet tight from air and dirt. It will have spiders and other bugs crawling in it over time. :(

Love our Teak Chest
The chest is very well made quite heavy, has lots of space for our BBQ and Smoking needs. Looks very nice as well.

Frances Teak Storage Cabinet Review
Very nice cabinet. Looks to be high quality. I finished it with Tung oil and has a real nice finish now. We plan to keep in indoors in a sunroom. Small issue with one of the door latches but it repaired easily. I would recommend this piece.

Not for outdoors
I join the other reviewers who rightfully thought this piece was for outdoors as the promotion pictures show. First rain and everything in side got soaked. The ad really misrepresents the piece.

NOT FOR OUTSIDE USE unless you plan to cover it
I lOVE the looks of this cabinet. It's beautiful. HOWEVER, it really is not made to be outdoors (as pictured in the catalog and the reason for my purchase). The top lifts up, however there is no lining to the inside bottom. Therefore, every time it rains, everything inside the cabinet gets soaked. We had to have a piece of tile cut to fit the inside of the top to prevent everything from getting wet. The top opening is absolutely useless because unless you plan to cover the top (which would be a shame because it is so beautiful), everything there gets wet too. Disappointed with this purchase.
