Freestanding Pet Barrier in Bronze is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 414.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine Arrived with a bent spindle, which was disappointing. By the time I spotted it, I had already assembled the barrier and disposed of the extensive packaging. Not typical Frontyexperiece. A similar pet barrier purchased a couple of years ago sits a few feet away from the new one and arrived in perfect condition .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Answer to our biggest indoor dog dilemna! We have two labs that we have struggled on finding the right solution to create their own space for years. I have looked at this barrier off and on for a long time and finally purchased it. Should have done it years ago. It would have saved my hardwood floors! Thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The gate is nice and of good quality. I was putting it between two rooms and there is a saddle on the floor where the tile and hardwood floors meet. It does not lay properly. If you are separating two floors and there is a lip or saddle don’t bother with this gate. really disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it. I searched several competitors for dog gates. I settled on frontage and have NO REGRETS! I bought three of these gates about a year ago. I have a german shepherd (GS) (who can jump the fence if needed) and a small dog. The gate serves as a reminder for the GS to stay. It is low enough that you can walk over it. I am 5'3. They are easy to move when necessary. They do not fall over if the dog tries to push against it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply elegant!! Love love love love this gate! Extremely well packaged and delivered as expected. It actually took longer to unpackage the parts than it did to put it together - which was very simple to do. Sturdy product made with quality material. Love the colors. If I could make one change....it would be to provide hole plugs for parts of the gate that are not bolted. It would be a primo finishing touch! I am going to figure out a way to cover them up and will post when I do!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gate.......... Purchased this gate because I needed a free-standing gate for family to move through easily while blocking our pets from roaming our home.......it is great on both accounts..........costly but worth it as it is built extremely well..........

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well made We are very happy with the freestanding pet barrier. We bought on sale and we are very happy we did not purchase a cheaper barrier. It keeps our strong puppy contained. She does chew at the metal, but it is durable and fortunately not made of wood. The door way is a necessity for us. The latch is a little awkward to open with left hand when opening the door away from you. Left or Right hand can easily open the door when opening the door towards you. The gate is a bit heavy to move, but it can be slid easily enough on our hard wood floors. Heavy enough that our puppy (approx 25 lb puppy will be approx 60 lb) and older big dog (65 lb) do not move it all. The distressed bronze finish is a nice color that blends in well with natural colors/decor.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Better looking online It is sturdy and does its job. The finish isn’t very pretty. It looks better online.

I've had this gate for 11 years and love it but need replacement hardware for the corners. Is it possible to purchase the "L-shaped" hardware separately?

Hello, We would like to confirm that this free-standing barrier can be configured as shown in the photo with the woman wearing the blue sweater. We need to be able to have the walk-through gate on that end, with the gate swinging out, as shown.

In the white gate pictures, the door is on the left, opens inward. In these pictures, the door is on the right and opens inward or on the left and opens outward. Which is correct, or can it be changed when putting the gate together? Are they different?

Asked by: Sherrycar
Thank you for your interest in the 34"H Freestanding Pet Barrier with Walk-through Door. This gate is designed to open back toward the side panels and is designed to have the gate on the right side as shown in the main picture. This is also true for the antique white option. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

The gate door has two slide latches to lock the door. Are both latches supposed to be spring action slides? Only the top slide latch has a spring and the bottom one does not. Is that correct or did ours arrive broken? What is the purpose of bottom latch?

Asked by: cardoodles
Thank you for your interest in the 34"H Freestanding Pet Barrier with Walk-through Door. Only one of the two latches on this gate should have a spring. The latch with the spring is designed to automatically lock when fully closed the second latch is a manual lock.
