Solid walk through hinged dog gate
I have two of these. Both of them have a hinged gate. I like them because they are freestanding. I have had the kind with tension and round felt pads holding Tham on place. Inevitably it scuffs the wall and removes the Venetian plaster and paint. For a while they did not have the hinged door goes and am thrilled they are back. I have large entry ways and these are adjustable for that. My Pomeranians have figured out how to push the accordion gates away. These would contain a much larger dog as well. These are a hard stop. When you walk through you have to close them carefully though because they are on a spring and will slam but that is not a deterrent for me - I love them!

High quality and beautiful pet gate!
I have purchased many items from Frontgate over the years - always high quality and stylish. But this gate beats them all! Easy to assemble (really not much to do at all) and sturdy - without needing to drill into walls. Very happy with our purchase!

Remodel upgrade
This is our second frontgate pet gate and we love it. We just completed a remodel and need to make sure our dog stays in a confined area when we are gone. So beautiful and sturdy, fits right in with the new look of our home!

If my dog jumps on it will it fall over since it’s not mounted?

What stops the dogs from pushing one side of the gate and getting out?
Is there any extension for your tension pet gates?
RE: Free standing gate - In photos, it looks like feet are flush against baseboards. The width appears to be adjustable with screws at pre-drilled holes. My baseboard opening is 45 1/2". Will feet sit flush against my baseboard or will there be a gap?
Is this suitable for a kitten / cat? could they claw the mesh and climb it?
