Understated Elegance
This is what I would call understated elegance. Which is exactly what I want for our bedroom. No loud colors, just the soft ivory. Not inches thick and bulky, like a comforter, but still a warm cover. Design is not flowery and doesn't scream feminine which makes my husband happy.

An authentic, elegant Matelasse coverlet!
I had almost given up hope that I could ever again find a Matelasse coverlet for our bed to replace the lovely, authentic one we have owned for the last 20 years. Discovering this elegant Frontgate Matelasse coverlet was such a find! The quality is impeccable--not a 'quilt that LOOKS like a Matelasse coverlet'. I'm so pleased! Then again, I've never been displeased with any product I have ever purchased from Frontgate over the years!

Luxurious Coverlet
Fabric is luxuriously textured, easy to wash, dry and iron to remove the packing wrinkles. It's a bit heavy in weight but easily folds up/down when needed. The light grey Dune color is perfect even though the carpet is light beige. Have a California king bed and the king size coverlet is substantial in size, reaching the floor within six inches on three sides. Also bought two king size shams. Caution: one per package.

The Ivory looks very yellow. Am trying to determine if I would be better off getting ivory or dune. My walls are beige.

How much does the scroll matelasse shrink? Does it wrinkle up as it shrinks?
Thank you for your interest in the Resort Scroll Matelassé Coverlet. A very small amount of shrinkage is normal when this product is first washed. As such, this item is a little oversized when it is first created. This allows the coverlet to maintain the appropriate size after washing.

I'm having trouble turning what color dune is. It looks like a linen beige in the catalog but more gray online.
I just received this today and love it! I would call Dune “greige” and here is what FG CustSvc sent to me “Dune is a light beige with slight grey undertones” definitely has some grey...which I love
