Great looking piece in the shower
I bought the shower caddy for our master shower. We don’t have a lot of space in the shower nook for all the shampoo and body wash. This piece is beautiful and fits nicely into the corner space. My daughter loved it so much, I bought one for her shower too.

A must have!
Everyone should have one of these in their shower if it will fit. An awesome place to keep a few incidentals and handy foot rest when you need one! My last one lasted 9 years and it was just time for a nice new one.

Are the leg feet of this stool adjustable?

What is your recommended method of maintenance for this teak product to maintain its patina?

Is the bench sturdy enough for an adult to sit on? Also, reading through previous questions, I see that the answers have indicated that the bench does need assembly and then that it comes assembled. Which is it?

This is waterproof?
Thank you for your interest in the Spa Teak Shower Bench with Shelf. This item is design to be used in a wet environment. However, if untreated the teak will absorb some water and patina over time. To prevent this we recommend using the Spa Teak Shield and Cleaner, items 100367 and 100366.

Can this bench be put IN the shower where it will be subject to daily wetness?
Thank you for your interest in the Spa Teak Shower Bench with Shelf. This item can be put in the shower but would need to be cleaned and sealed with teak cleaner and teak sealer. It would also need to be dried and not just left to dry on its own. Caring for teak that is inside is different for caring for teak that is outside. There would be care instructions that would come with it.

It does not appear to be. I expect it will turn grey over time, exposed to salt air and moisture. You can add a sealer or oil if you want.

Replacement adjustable feet
Does anyone have an idea where I might obtain replacement adjustable rubber feet for this shower bench? The pads are deteriorating on our 5 year old bench and need replacing. Thanks for any assistance.

Would this bench work for a senior? Someone mentioned splinters. Should that be a concern?
Yes. I believe the bench would be good for a senior.
The great thing about teak is that it is soft but durable and
doesn't get splinters like other woods. Sort of like bamboo
but not as slippery.

Yes of course. That's why it's designed for a bath or shower.
