Disappointing Experience
This is a beautiful chair. It is heavy; however, the seat is the heaviest part, not the legs. So we wonder if it might tip in a strong wind, and we also wonder about its longevity. Time will tell. We also had problems upon arrival of the product. It was supposed to come 2 to a box. We ordered 4 chairs. But 1 box only came with 1 chair. So we had to contact customer service. They shipped a new box with 2 chairs and asked us to return the other box which we did. When we opened the new box to assemble the 2 chairs, one of the chairs had a sizeable visible 2 inch long and deep scratch in the finish. For the price, even on sale, you would expect perfection. Two separate shipments fell far short. Quality control is lacking. This was our first major purchase from Frontgate and most likely our last.
