Hammer Tone Commercial Patio Heater is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from not what I expected from Frontgate Bought 3 units several months ago. I expected high quality from Frontgate and received less than anticipated. The assembly took more time than expected and I have reasonable mechanical skills. Instructions were okay, but not extensive. the multi-piece top heat shield took extra time to assembly: the coating did not come off easily nor did the 5 piece assembly fit as accurately as expected. My previous unit had a one piece heatshield that was nice looking - didn't look like it was piecemealed together. The unit does not stand square, so the unit looks crooked. I have worked on this a while and it has gotten better, but shims are needed to keep it looking straight - an issue if you move it around. My previous unit also had a weighted metal base. This unit has a plastic base that you get to fill with water or sand to keep from tipping over in high winds. So, I would recommend that if you want a unit of good quality you keep looking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Quality Expected I have always been so pleased with the quality of Frontgate items, this is not one of them. On a positive note, the heater puts out heat. The problem is it is very light, blew over easily in mild winds, was placed by corner of house, cheap parts, dented easily. We had a previous heater that we did not have to coddle. Have owned less than a year. Really disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality!! We have purchased patio heaters from another company, which we found to be cheap and not durable. To our pleasant surprise, the two patio heaters we just purchased from Frontgate are solid, durable and look like they are quality-made. The ignition system works like a charm, as they light quickly and easily. The heat these patio heaters throw is also remarkable, compared to the heaters we have had in the past.
