I live in Texas and the summers get very hot. I want the rug out in my backyard where it has sun pretty much all day. Will the rug fade in color or fray from any other weather related issues?

Would this rug be good in a garage at the beach? Is it easy to vacuum up sand from sandals & bare feet?
Thank you for your interest in the Harper Indoor/Outdoor Rug. The flat-weave design gives the rug a nice hue and subtle sheen that works well in any outdoor setting. To care for the rug, vacuum regularly and hose clean. We recommend adding an outdoor rug pad for increased water drainage and to help hold in place (sold separately).

Easy care
Not only does this rug look beautiful, it is also easy to clean. We were able to get red wine stain out of the rug using salt, followed by club soda. Voila! stain disappeared.

A great rug.
Beautiful rug! I love this rug. The colors are true and the border is nice. It's not too busy, but it enhances the space. We are using it in a patio area. It's also easy to sweep because it's not too textured, and it feels nice to walk on unlike other outdoor rugs.

Super edition to my backyard furniture.
Outstanding outdoor Rug, for our gazebo. I have a 12x12 cement slab in our backyard which my gazebo was installed. I chose my outdoor furniture and gadgets first, before deciding on the aqua colored rug. Not only is the Rug a perfect match, it has an elegant look! The Rug adheres to the cement well without rolling up. The Rug's edges have withstood heavy foot traffic and it still looks amazing. All I have done in terms of maintenance, is to sweep it. Super happy with this Rug!

This is such a beautiful rug. The blue color looks so good by the blue of the pool. It feels good on your feet when the deck is so hot in the summer and dries very quickly when it rains.

The pictures of this rug do not do it justice! There are subtleties nuances to the thread colors that add depth and simple elegance to the rug (purchased the aqua). Of the pictures on the website, the color is truest in the picture of the rug alone (the picture with the lounge furniture makes it appear paler than it is).

I recently purchased two of the Harper Indoor/Outdoor rugs to use on my outdoor patio. They are well made, attractive, durable rugs that hold up well. These rugs can be cleaned with a bleach and water solution if needed and the colors stay true. I highly recommend them.
