Our caterer-style Hot/Cold Stainless Steel Serving Trays contain a thermosensitive core that keeps appetizers hot or cold for approximately 2 hours. Simply place them in the refrigerator or a low-temperature oven prior to use and then return to your party.

These are the best, especially in the summer when it's hot as they keep food fresh on a hot summer day. They do a good job of keeping food hot when entertaining indoors. The 17in round tray is stylish, and very sturdy...I have not had the chance to use with hot hors d oeuvres yet but worked perfectly for my cheese and cracker presentation...it’s a great size too... I highly recommend...

I bought this a full year ago and am considering a second one because I use it so often. It has been great for cheese cakes, mozzarella tomato basil appetizers, creme pies, chocolate dipped strawberry chocolate cheesecake filled bites, and most recently I made for the 4th of July strawberry puree jello shots that looked like watermelons filled in limes cut in half till chilled. The jello was just barely firm enough to slice into wedges. I did not have another hour to harden. I worried a bit put them on this platter with the domed matching lid and by the time we drove a hour to families house it had completely firmed up perfectly! The platter stayed cold for 4 +hrs in the sun with the dome. I also reccomend the dome lid highly. They look so good and I chuckle at our monogram NYE on the lid( our last name.) I hear people saying enthusiastically, "Who are the Nyes?" Highly reccomend!
