When the trays are on the stand, can the corresponding dome tray covers also fit on each tray in the stand?

Do the trays come off of stand. I am looking at the trays and stand that are sold separately and comparing the cost. Purchasing the stand with the two trays are significantly less expensive.

Wonderful purchase
Very impressed with this purchase. Assembly is easy, and it looks great IRL. Trays stay warm or cold for a very long time, but be sure to follow the heating/cooling directions included.

Great Hot/Cold set!
This set is awesome! I actually put a warm canape on top and the top tray kept it warm, and chicken salad cream puffs on the bottom and it kept them cool during my party. It also looks so amazing! When you pair it with the other Optima pieces from Frontgate, it makes for a very impressive party!

The round stand with the two trays is even more beautiful than I expected and it is very useful
to serve one platter/tray with cold food and the other one with hot food.
For me is it the perfect piece I was waiting for a long time.

Flexible Elegance
We all appreciate and want elegance at some time or another. Better yet if elegance is part of a set of table ware that one can acquire in pieces like the serving piece shown above. It is practical and elegant at the same time and reasonably priced. The plates can be used individually where one can be warm and the other cold if desired or both hot or cold. The plates can be used in the frame to maximize elegance. Alleluia!

Superior entertaining display
Love this. Very well made, sturdy. Have not used it for cold food as yet, but hot (warm) was great. Easy to dismantle for storage.
