Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for serving! This stand is beautiful and the trays are large enough to hold anything you want to put on them. The downside is storage for the holder as the trays are flat and can go anyplace. The stand comes as two large pieces that do not fit in a cabinet as they are too tall and too deep.

When the trays are on the stand, can the corresponding dome tray covers also fit on each tray in the stand?

Thank you for your interest in the Hot/Cold 3-pc Set. The steel dome is designed to be used with the tray when it's not assembled onto the stand.

Do the trays come off of stand. I am looking at the trays and stand that are sold separately and comparing the cost. Purchasing the stand with the two trays are significantly less expensive.
