Very sturdy and stout!
Great quality for the price. These units are solid and comfortable for long term or short term seating. I have 3 and need two more. I love the return swivel on them. Can set, turn and goes back to original set position.

Wow......If only I could give them a zero.
I do not review products often. I should do so more often when I am pleased with the product and customer service. Many people including myself read reviews before making a major purchase. I am very unhappy to be writing this review today. I have better things to do with my time. But...holy cow what a disappointment my experience has been in regard to these stools and the "customer service" at Frontgate. I would love to copy and paste the ridiculous communications that I have experienced in regard to these stools.
I will try to keep this as short as possible while getting my point across.
I purchased 3 or these stools in December of 2021. I actually received them at the end of January of 2022. I was super happy with the stools. We really liked them. Within the first 3 months, however, we noticed that the backs of the chairs were becoming very loose. We didn't contact Frontgate because we are pretty capable and we honestly just don't complain about things we can fix ourselves.
So in very early May of this year the bottom rung of the stool completely broke off. My poor sister, who was sitting on the stool was devastated. I told her not to worry that I'm sure that Frontgate will stand behind it's product.
I emailed them to ask if they could help us with the broken stool. They explained that our 1 year warranty had expired and offered me a 50% off coupon to use at Frontgate or... they could send a "furniture medic" to our home to fix it. I opted for option #2. Then after 4 weeks and three more emails I was told that they can't send anyone to fix the stool because it was out of warranty. I literally have emails from 6 different "Product Specialists" I will not use their last names. There was a Julie, John, Caitlin, Radonna, and a Wanda. All of them are specialists....? Their customer service is really in question as far as I'm concerned. 5 "specialists" with a "script."
This is their customer service. Rant over....I responded saying that I was not happy and asked them to remove me from their mailing list. I stated that I would not purchase anything from Frontgate again, and that I would be reviewing the stools. The last correspondence I received was that they would remove me from their mailing list.
