They take 3 C batteries each, so I had to shop for them since I don't usually keep them in stock. I set them up and tested them to work overnight and then turn off. They worked great and I will enjoy having them around for Christmas!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They flicker and cast a soft, warm light These are a bit expensive but worth it given overall quality. They are light-weight, battery operated (3C batteries in each) with flames that flicker and look real. The timer works well and bulb does not get hot so seem safe.
