Patio furniture review
High quality looking furniture! I love that the chair feels slightly oversized. It’s all comfortable. I appreciate that I get the look of something nice and don’t have to worry about cushions. Less maintenance than other sets we’ve had! Some of the reviews made me think the wood was going to be gray. It’s not. It is a natural looking wood with gray undertones, but definitely isn’t a solid gray.

You get what you pay for. And more.
Frontgate's outdoor furniture isn't cheap. But we were looking for super high quality outdoor furniture so made the bet that the premium pricing would be worth it. It turned out to be a good bet. It's amazing furniture -- well crafted from excellent materials. Big and roomy. Built to last. And matched with a customer satisfaction team that stands behind their [amazing] products with premium service. One of the furniture covers didn't quite fit. No problem -- replaced. A piece of furniture was slightly dinged in shipment. Taken care of. No unreasonable pushback. Highly competent service agents that are empowered to make good of the situation without having to run to their supervisor.

Beautiful, unique, easy care
Bought the sofa, love seat, 2 chairs. I am using them by the pool, under a large pear tree. They are extra wide and very comfortable. I dont have to worry about spiders, other bugs hiding in them, dont have to worry about passing birds. Everything cleans off easily with a hose and soft scrub brush.
They are so different than anything else out there. I am just in love with them and hope they hold up for years. Also have the round weathered table, will purchase the dining chairs as well. Couldnt be happier.

As you probably know, the weathered wood of the isola furniture develops spots of mildew. I'm willing to treat it, but how?
Thank you for your interest in the Isola Collection. If this does develop spots of mold, they can be cleaned by diluting dawn dish soap and water with 1/4 cap of bleach per gallon of water. This with a bit of scrubbing will remove the stain. If you wish to stop this from weathering, you can treat it with a teak sealant.

What is the color of the material on these items? In some pictures it appears multi- tonal with grey coloring and others it appears very cream colored.

Is the teak treated or topcoated to prevent mold? We live in a tropical environment, and we always have to worry about moisture. Thanks!
Thank you for your interest in the Isola Seating in Weathered Finish. This teak is kiln dried to eliminate expansion and shrinkage and will adopt a silvery patina over time. The all-weather wicker has a washed white finish. We do recommend regular cleaning and applying teak oil or protectant if you do not want the teak to patina over time.

i have the Isola seating 2 love seats and large sofa and chairs foot stool, table and 4 lounge chaises. My finish is peeling on arms. What should I do? Sand it off and use teak cleaner and sealer? Please advise, I love it and want to keep it up.
We are very sorry to hear about your Isola Seating in Weathered Finish. Our teak furniture can be lightly sanded with fine-grit sandpaper to remove any unwanted silvery patina or stains and then treated with teak cleaner and protectant.

Is this product waterproofs? Will wet swim suits hurt it?
