Teak Finish Problems
The driftwood finish on this teak quickly turns to an unattractive chalky purplish white outdoors. Teak ordinarily greys with age, but this furniture ages to a very odd color that does not resemble anything close to the usual grey patina of teak. When I contacted Frontgate about this problem, which occurred shortly after the return window closed, customer service said there was nothing wrong with the furniture and that the furniture should be regularly refinished to avoid this problem. Highly recommend that you do not purchase this furniture, there is something seriously wrong with the finish.
