how does this hold up to rainy climates? we don't get a lot of sun and worried about mold etc/

However, this item should not be left completely exposed to the elements; all outdoor furniture should be covered when not in use. To maintain the beautiful appearance and protect the item, proper care and cleaning would be required.

We are wanting to use this furniture outside on the ocean and want to make sure it is ok for the sea air.
Thank you for your interest in the Isola Sofa in Weathered Finish. This sofa can be used near the ocean. To extend the life of your furniture, avoid direct contact with chlorine and saltwater. If near salt water, we recommend weekly rinsing with water from a hose.

Chic and durable
We bought both this and the loveseat version for our deck to replace a sectional with cushions that had become covered with mildew. There is no roof overhang and furniture here is totally exposed to the elements, so we were willing to have something less cushy in order to use it more often and have it hold up. However I've been pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the polywicker is. These pieces are cute and sophisticated looking and don't seem cheap or plasticky at all.

Even better looking in person!
This set absolutely exceeded my expectations--it's even better looking in person than in the photos. It's very classy and a great addition to our deck. We bought the sofa set and extra sofa to have plenty of room for friends and guests and we can't wait to use it when the weather warms up. The roomy/generous size means you will probably want to add some decorative outdoor pillows. And I definitely recommend the matching covers that coordinate with the set. We bought a blue Frontgate outdoor rug to frame the set. So pleased!

Beautiful and excellent quality!
The sofa is exactly as pictured! Looks beautiful poolside by the fireplace. The seating is firm and deep. It’s most comfortable with pillows. The quality of the materials is excellent. Hopefully it will hold up well over time in the Southern California sunshine!

Love All Isola!

A marriage-comfort and style!
Over the years I purchased several items here and there from Frontgate. I’ve always been pleased. Recently, while visiting my son they had purchased the Isola sofa. It is very comfortable and deep. It can be left outside-which is great! We have moved to the beach and the weather is mild-and, storage is limited. We purchased 2 of the sofas. My husband is all about comfort and I am all about style! We are both happy!

Comfy and seems like it will be durable
I was looking for an outdoor sofa that would be reasonably comfortable without cushions that could get dirty, and this one fit the bill. It's actually quite comfortable for a sofa with no cushions, especially with some throw pillows on it. It seems like it will hold up well, and we already successfully cleaned up a spill that I thought might stain (cherry juice). So far very satisfied!
