Smeary plates
I love all of my other Frontgate purchases but these plates are disappointing. I get it they are handmade however they are also smeared with extra back ink in the white areas. The over glazing is also applied haphazardly on some of the plates. I love handmade things, these plates lack the charm. They are not beautiful or what I would expect from Frontgate.

Italian Sparrow Dish Set
These dinner plates are beautiful and have a handcrafted, no one around will have this design appeal. They are larger than your typical plate and are heavy duty. I got most of the pieces in the set and was pleased. I would recommend this product.

Great black& white decor!
I Love bird motifs and silhouettes, so this pitcher is a lovely decorating piece. Too heavy to actually use for beverages. Well made and nicely painted.

This platter is huge. Even though I checked the dimensions I wasn’t prepared for the size. It has a nice “dip” so juices won’t be spilling over and since it’s earthenware, it’s quite light. But it will not fit in standard kitchen cupboards. You will need deep shelving or drawers to accommodate. I’ve never used the cupboard above my frig, but now it has a use

Is the dinnerware navy on white or black on white? Is the dark charger available? Are there soup bowl or chowder bowl options? Will the paint lighten with automatic dishwashing, or is handwashing recommended? Are there mugs/coffee cups available?

The ones in the catalog are different. Two birds shown on each plate. Also can these be put in the dishwasher?
Are these black and white, or a very deep ink blue? Can’t tell from the photos and the description does not say. Thanks!
