The perfect lamp

Love this lamp
I am very happy with this lamp. I have been looking for this style floor lamp for sometime and was delighted to find this perfect piece. Although some have commented that the design is only on two sides of the lamp shade, for me personally it was perfect, it would have overwhelmed other focal points and areas of interest in my room. Unlike other lamps I have seen, this lamp is sturdy enough not to tip over easily. This lamp was a perfect fit for my room.

Wonky lamps
Ordered two for a console table. Lamps arrived on time and packed well. When assembled, both lamp poles were not centered on the base and clearly looked uneven. Sent back.

Beautiful Lamp
I bought this lamp for my Etienne writing desk (which I love) to sit by my bed. It is a beautiful lamp. I purchased the Botanical shade and am still trying to decide if I should have purchased the natural linen instead. The print looks goldenrod yellow on the website, but it is actually gold metallic. It looks beautiful when the lamp is on, but I am not sure of the gold when the light is not on. That us the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars. Very pleased with the lamp overall!

Pros and cons
Like all of the product I've purchased from Frontgate, the lamp is well made and substantial. The finish is beautiful and would lend itself to a variety of shades. The shade that came with it, however, is too large for my space and seems to me to be too large for the lamp. I switched it out for another shade I had and may be able to use the shade that came in the future, or in a different area. I was disappointed that a lamp this expensive does not have a 3-way light - something I've come to expect in most lamps. I will not be returning it but am not thrilled.

Very pretty and functional.
This lamp just arrived and we are very happy with the quality and function. We ordered the beige square shade. The shade spreads the light enough for my husband to read, but still blocks the light from shining in his eyes.

Only 2 sides of the lampshade are printed with the
My shade was just delivered and I was totally surprised that #1 the shade is square, which is not easy to see in the description BUT #2 only 2 sides of the shade are printed with the botanical design. Nowhere in the description or picture is that shown. very disappointing.
