The catalog picture looks like the glass is more white but the on line pics look amber. Which is it? Also metal color. Bright silver or dark on chain?
The capiz shells are a pearly cream or ivory color. Because they are natural, there are highs and lows in the color - ranging from creamy white to a linen-like color. The shells are not amber.
The metal parts are a champagne finish - a pretty, light silvery gold.

What is the main color of the shell globe? In the picture with the table and chairs, it looks creamy white but in the other pictures, it looks brownish gold. I don’t want to have to pay for return shipping if it isn’t the color I was wanting.

Love this Capiz light fixture. It’s amazing
This light fixture is even more beautiful in person. We replaces a ceiling fan in our bedroom with this fixture and it makes the room look SO much better.

Absolutely beautiful once installed
I bought two of these (size Large) to replace the old Faux stained glass light in my entryway and the light over my breakfast table. When I received them, I have to admit, I wasn’t completely sold given the price. They looked much more golden brassy in person and not nearly as high end as I would expect a light this costly to appear. I was optimistic, though, that the other reviewers and the photos were a better indicator of how they would ultimately look and I’m so glad I took the chance. Finally got these installed today and I couldn’t be happier.
Couple of noteworthy obstacles - nowhere in the listing and description does it specify that this light is for FLAT CEILINGS ONLY. I have exclusively angled ceilings in my home so I bought two Melucee ceiling adapters online and they worked perfectly. I also picked up another brand but they were ultimately too thin for the wire to fit through and would have necessitated drilling a hole in the light cap - which I would rather not have to do. I am so happy I was able to find an adapter to make these lights work.
The only other tricky piece was the size of the screws to attach the cap to the ceiling plate - super tiny and a bit frustrating to work with. Ultimately very satisfied with the look of the lights in each spot in my house though.

this lamp is absolute beautiful and love it. Only thing that kept it from 5 star rating was the difficulty in mounting the ceiling fixture due to the extremely small and difficult to install screws that were next to impossible to get started. A small centering relief on the tip of these two small screws would have help immensely.
