Log Racks is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 122.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rack! I purchased one of these wood racks around 10 yrs ago for my home. It looks and functions great, and has held up to the elements extremely well. I just purchased my second one for my cabin. When it arrived I was pleased to see that the quality is the same as the one I bought 10nyrs ago. If Inever need a third one, this is the rack I'd get!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome We are very pleased with the rack. It is the perfect size and holds plenty of wood for our outdoor fireplace. It also gives us a very decorative privacy wall between our backyard and our neighbors. Very sturdy and stylish

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lost in the wood(s) I have assembled the rack yet I have not loaded it yet. It's summer in VA and there aren't too many people focused on selling/delivering firewood this time of year. That said, the rack was easy to assemble, attractive and seems sturdy. Delivery was lightening quick. My only knock is the box was destroyed through the delivery process. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars. The box was torn into so many pieces, I had a hard time dragging it into the house. Luckily the rack wasn't damaged. I think that was pure luck. If I did have an issue there would have been no way to return the item. Please improve the packaging!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curved Log Rack Love the look of this curved log rack. It's sturdy and well made. It was a bit tricky to assemble as the directions were not correct. Had to take part of it apart and re-assemble. But ultimately - a great product. Also - delivered quicker than expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rack is great; cover is terrible I've had this firewood rack for several years and have been perfectly happy with it. The covers, however, are terrible. I thought the first one was poor, as it only lasted about 3 years before the zipper was broken and the fabric was falling apart. But then I saw that they had a newer, "improved" version, so I purchased it as a replacement. It has turned out to be even worse, lasting only just over a year before the lining began crumbling. By this spring, about a year and a half after purchase, the finials on top of the rack had ripped through the cover. We keep our rack on the lower level of our patio, against the back wall of our garage. It is exposed to the elements, but that's what the cover is for. I keep the wood rack well stocked, so the cover isn't simply resting and pulling on the finials, but is filled in nicely by the wood. So this really should be able to hold up better. As with most things at Frontgate, this isn't exactly a budget item, so I expected better quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Estate Log Rack My husband had tried a make-shift log rack that didn't hold up, so I bought him the Estate Log Rack. He put it together easily by himself and it is a shining star! Very attractive and holds tons of logs! Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning & practical Love my log rack. it went together easily, looks stunning and works well. I decided the smaller one would best fill the space I had. Now I wish I had gotten the large one... Oh well... If you like it, buy it. I highly recommend it. I admired it for many years first. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long!

What is the height difference from the bottom of the feet to the bottom of the wood rack?

I'm looking to place this item over a fixture that is a few inches taller than where the feet of the rack would sit and want to make sure it would clear the fixture.
Asked by: ThomasG
Thank you for your interest in the Log Racks. The clearance under this item is 1.5"H.

How much wood does it hold?

in terms of cords, please. Thanks!
Asked by: Susabelle
Thank you for your interest in the Frontgate Steel Log Racks. The Standard Log Rack will hold approximately a fourth of a cord of wood, and the Estate Log Rack will hold approximately a third of a cord of wood.

Cover access

Does the cover have a zipper or some kind of easy access to the wood? Also is the cover made of stain resistant material and weatherproof?
Asked by: JenniferL
The covers are waterproof. They have a heavy duty zipper in the middle of the cover. The fabric appears to be treated with a rubber type of product which makes this fabric especially heavy duty.

Depth of Rack

The standard rack provides the following dimensions: 70-3/4"W x 23-1/2"D x 39"H, 77-1/2 lbs. Poles are 14-1/2" apart. A previous response says logs need to be 24" to sit on the rack. Can you please verify this? If that is correct, then what is the references to the fact that "poles" are 14 1/2 inches apart?
Asked by: Khumbu
Thank you for your interest in the Log Racks. The base of this item is 23-1/2"D, and the inside of the metal legs on each side is approximately 14.5"W. We recommend using deeper logs, such a 24", for stability; however, shorter logs can be used. We do not recommend stacking logs that are less than 18".

im keeping this outside where it will get rained on... will it rust out?
Asked by: TKFoods
I've owned this rack for 3 years and have not covered it until 3 weeks ago. No rust and stilll looks great but the wood was ruined. Even though the rack is great if it's exposed to rain and snow I would buy the cover too!!

Is there a screen below kindling to keep it from falling through?

Asked by: Gallahorse
NO. You just have to make sure that it's long enough to be held by the two support bars underneath. I have not had any problems with my small wood pieces falling through. Not a bad idea though.
