Log Racks is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 62.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful addition to our patio! Although I had to wait a couple months for this item to ship due to being on back order I am very pleased with this product. It took only 30 minutes (and a helping hand from my wife) to assemble this log rack from the time I opened the box. This has been a perfect addition to our new patio area! Also, I would certainly recommend buying the cover for this product to keep your seasoned firewood protected from the elements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy firewood rack The log rack is HUGE! The pieces are a little heavy, but that makes the finished rack SO sturdy. It was the largest thing I've put together. We filled it up and have enough firewood to last this winter and the next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great log rack! This log rack not only looks great, but it's well built and sturdy. I've been using it for over 5 years and it's as solid as the day I got it. The open bottom design makes it less inviting for critters to take up residency like they do with traditional log racks. Make sure to anchor the rack to the floor with the supplied bolts as it plays a role in the overall stability of the rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Log Rack This rack is beautiful! Looks so much nicer than a pile of wood on the ground at my house. It was a small challenge to put it together but was well worth it. Looks so nice on the side of my house. It's very solid too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased Sturdy and nearly perfectly machined. The base is great - it protects our porch floor, but would be equally as good on the ground and with the wide base would not dig into the lawn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Log Rack Classic design and strong materials. It didn't take long to put together, but would go faster with a second set of hands as bars are a bit heavy. This is my second rack!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great log rack--terrible instructions This is a sturdy and good looking firewood rack. Now that we have it assembled we love it. BUT...Putting it together was challenging because the instructions are WRONG! If you have a good mechanically-minded person to help figure out how to put it together, this is a great purchase. If not, save yourself some cussing and look elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking and quality log holders Holds a great amount of wood and is sturdy and secure. Had a large estate rack and a small rack used regularly outside for 6 years. Just added a third small rack and is of same quality construction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best rack we've had yet! High quality and looks great. Impressed by how large the base is compared to other racks I've had in the base. Holds a large quantity of wood and coupled with the cover we also bought, makes it easy to store several months worth and keep and it dry so that making a fire is easy! Love it and highly recommend it! Along with the cover :).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not meet Frontgate Quality Standards Based on the quality of an Estate Log Rack I purchased well over 10 years ago, I made the decision to order a Standard Log Rack. When it arrived, the shipping box was badly damaged and the styrofoam packing material was essentially disintegrated. However, all the parts appeared to be present and in OK condition. As others have commented on, as I began to assemble the rack, the pre-drilled holes were too large for the nuts and bolts included and the parts did not fit tightly. This resulted in a lot of movement in the assembled rack. More problematic, the cross-braces were different sizes; one being about 11" long and the other three 12" long. Based on the distance between the legs, all of the braces should have been 11". Use of the 12" braces forced the legs to bow-out. Frontgate's solution was to ship a second log rack. However, when received, all of the cross-braces were too long. I had not choice but to ship both log racks back to Frontgate for a refund. Clearly, the manufacturer of these racks has changed since I purchased my first log rack, or their quality control has been eliminated. I cannot recommend purchase of these log racks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful design but with a design flaw I had to replace the original one because of water and rust damage, although it had logs on it because of a design flaw. Where you store the small woods, there is a connection to the lower frame water will get in because the seal is loose. If it stays empty in the summer and not covered, you will get water after rains that will remain trapped, and then you will have to tilt and empty the rusted water. I solved it on the new rack by using black dust tape to eliminate this problem. You can assemble it by yourself(45 minutes), but if you have a helper(20 minutes), also please get a good cover for it or a tarp you don't need to purchase the one from frontgate because it sort just as much as the rack. To replace the rack, they sent me a new one at no charge (the box arrived damaged). They asked me to disassemble the old one and put it in the original box, not an easy task, because you have to cut the box open to remove the rack. I placed the items in the box used a roll of tape to package it, and they picked it up by UPS.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from BAD INSTRUCTIONS; TOO MUCH SLACK, BUT LOOKS GOOD The Instructions were bad but worse was the slack between all parts, from the base pieces to the brackets holding the sides together. We thought it would eventually crack from the wright over time so we spent a good hour creating thin metal inserts to tighten it up, it worked but should not have been required, Frontgate should supply premium parts. It does look good though and holds a little more than 1/8 cord for regular size (1/4 almost if you stack it up). But now it’s on sale and I paid full price, paid the same as the estate size. Feel like I got worked Over on this one.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Horrible Assembly, Way Too Much Slack, But hey it looks good. I’d give it five stars for Looks only. We had to insert metal strips around the eye of each bolt to remove enough slack so that we were comfortable it wouldn’t eventually snap due to the weight of logs. It took over two hours. Instructions were confusing. It’s not rocket science to put it together but you’ll have to be creative if you want a secure rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Great quality, easy to put together. Nice size to hold enough firewood for a few weeks. Love the streamlined look. We live in the country, so having wood off the ground deters snakes. It also keeps the logs on the bottom from sitting in the dirt/mud so when you carry wood inside it doesn't leave a mess. We put this under our porch roof so the wood stays dry all winter and we don't even have to put on shoes to go outside to get more logs. Makes me wonder why we didn't upgrade years ago!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from We sent it back. We we're so excited about this rack; it was the perfect size. The package arrived in bad shape; smashed cardboard and looking worse for wear. We tried to put the pieces together and the holes did not match up and the tolerances for fitting together we're so large that even if we could have tightened all the hardware, it still would be loose. We loath sending stuff back, so we set about to see what could be done. Three guys, well rounded in construction and handy-ing, couldn't figure out how to make it work. We cobbled together the product and the box and, to Frontgate good credit, the return was easy-peasy. Too bad. Try again with your supplier, Frontgate! A circle rack like this is a great design feature for modern homes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If Cheesy is your thing, this is for you. It’s metal and it’s black. That’s the good part. The parts are crooked, rusty, and the only way it can go together is fortunately they drilled the holes twice as big as the bolts. Once you get it together, it’s twisted and the arms wobble even with the bolts cranked down. Must have paid the workers in India in opium instead of cash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact outdoor log rack Needed a log rack for our outdoor wood fired oven. This was just the right size and very sturdy with decent metal gauge. The semi circular design was also more interesting than the typical rectangular shape.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dissapointed I agree with most other reviews. I was able to put together by myself, it is loose at the joints, looks good for the most part. This is not one of Frontgates finest products that I am so used to. Welds are poorly done, with rust starting right out of the box. See Photo. I would not buy if I know it was of this quality! I would not recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, heavy construction. Attractive item. Just completed assembly of the standard size log rack. The construction is heavy, and while the rails and hole alignment were a little off at times, it came together fine once tightened (somewhat loosely fitting pieces with seams on the rails not matching up perfectly without gaps). One thing to note: picture shown online at Frontgate shows the 4 "flat brackets" as installed upward facing the wood, while the instructions show the opposite (installed underside of rails- downward). I followed the look of the picture online; it seemed more attractive in my opinion. As others have noted, the instruction pictures are not that great, and it's sort of a 2 person assembly job (i did it by myself, but would recommend 2 people). Glad I went with the standard size, as its large enough for my use at our fire pit. The Estate size would be HUGE. Not sure if it can be left outside or if it should be located under an overhang, as I'm not sure if it would rust easily or not. Overall, nice looking attractive piece. I really like the lower storage section for smaller kindling wood. Good pricing when on sale.

I have the Estate Log Rack. Either the assembly instructions provided are wrong or the wrong parts were provided. 1st 2 steps require all 12 small bolts. Braces want 6 more. Where are they? Big bolts don’t fit in the braces. Thanks.
